Some words on Thomas Jane.

The guy is criminally underrated. Although that's his own fault. The guy is capable of great turns but almost specializes in choosing terrible movies.

He was excellent in The Last Time I Committed Suicide (1997) which is impressive given that it was his first lead role. He's ****ing incredible in Skip Woods' Thursday (1998). The Velocity of Gary (1998) was an incredibly brave lead and he nailed it. Other good ones were Stander (2003), The Mist (2007) and his three seasons of Hung (2009 - 2011). Every movie he did after 2007 was absolute garbage. So much potential wasted.

But yeah, The Punisher (2004) was his moment in the sun and much like him is an incredibly underrated CBM. One that would be MUCH better received if released today.

Its good to see him attached to a big budget studio action movie again.
