I got City Hunter as well. I'm not a big fan of P2, but I appreciate any Kevin Peter Hall Pred. I love Wolf for it's design.

Yeah I'm not buying it either. Shane wrote amazing stuff back then, but I doubt he's going to be McTiernan behind the camera whatsoever.

EDIT: I'm probably going to full convert my Classic Pred to a movie accurate one later in the year since HT ain't revisiting it.

I have mild hope for it given that Shane Black is doing it. He's a competent writer and film-maker who seems to prefer doing his own original stuff so when he decided to go back to Predator it sorta made me wonder what potential he sees there that the rest of us don't.

You would hope he has lots however you never know. This is the same FOX that OK'd the AvPR script, hired the Strause Brothers and then started making budget cuts during production because they knew they had ****ed up.

Fox ****ed up alright. They cut the budget and half the stage lights they ordered never made it to the set. No wonder the movie was so ****ing dark.

That's a common myth in regards to the lighting in AvPR. The film itself was well lit but was then heavily darkened in post-production.

They made it dark to hide the crappy effects
