I've always liked Shane Black. He comes across as a down to earth, been through the Hollywood system, doesn't tolerate idiots kind of guy. The Lethal Weapon and Predator making ofs have great interviews with him.

Holdbrook's character is out on a mission hunting down a target. He finds a cloaked but dead Predator. He takes the Pred's equipment home with him. His son discovers the Pred tech and the dad is forced to explain. The story then revolves around another Predator retrieving the dead Pred's equipment.

Something like that. I imagine there will be more government alien conspiracy stuff going on.
I like the conspiracy theory aspect, but P2 already covered that.

But **** it's gonna be another town slasher movie isn't it? :'C

Well as long as it doesn't give him the ability to see the future somehow, that'd be stupid.
You disappoint me, a-dev.

I can already tell there's going to be a scene where the kid wears a bio mask. He'll probably use the tech to get back at the bullies. At least we'll finally get a touching scene between a father and his autistic son that the last Predator movies have definitely been missing to really push the films to greatness.

isn't the tag line for this supposed to be 'you'll never see him coming'? Probably should change it to, 'you'll never be seen coming to this'

The last shot of the movie will be the son hugging his dad with his eyes closed and then THEY OPEN. Dun dun dunnnn. *Freeze frame on kids face with the sound of the Predator clicking noise*

either that or the 3 dots of the laser sight appearing on the back of his dad's head

Can't get Hot Toys to make Terence Stamp Zod, BR Catwoman, Dutch v2, or Kyle Reese figures but we'll end up getting one of this kid in street clothes wearing a bio mask.

That tagline was only used for the announcement of the new movie. They even used Classic from Predators in the image. Nothing to do with the new movie.

With this stellar story, wonder how he will make it an 'event' movie like he's said in the past. Now I'd rather see the dramatization of one of my earlier joke plot posts!
