Re shoots aren't necessarily the bad thing some people make out. At least they are taking action to correct something rather than just pumping it out as is. I'm expecting this to disappoint, but the re shoots don't bother me. Hopefully it's to cut out that little brat.

As for this movie... I have little faith.

It seems all the movies from the 80s that they reboot or continue completely suck.

New alien movies
New predator movies
New nightmare on elm street
New robocop
New total recall
New terminator (multiple attempts)
New Indiana Jones (or eventually Joan? )

I’m sure I’m forgetting a ton... not exactly inspiring though.

I still think that part was also forced by the Studio in order to promote AvP comix, even tho FX guys took it as a silly easter egg and made the skull look funny.
