I”ll admit this pred was weaker than Jungle Pred because Jungle pred lasted many years in that jungle. I don’t think he was stupid though.

I don't think he's stupid either, but there was too many convenient deus ex machina situations in there to allow it to be killed. Jungle hunter they struggled against the entire time. Even when you think Mac and Dillon will finally take a piece of his ***, they get killed effortlessly.

I never watched Siskel and Ebert as a kid, but whenever I watch a movie review or analysis and they play clips of theirs... it's readily apparent they had awful taste in film and treat any sci fi or horror film like garbage.

Reviewers were a whole different animal before Social Media and device technology. The print and televised media was no holds barred and a lot of people sadly did believe the press back then.

That’s why movies either suffered sales or had big interest back then.

No dvds yet and VHS was not as widely spread around that time of the film. No internet so everything was either word of mouth or believe in what the critics say.

People didn’t really ignore the media’s word back then like they do now

The Lethal Weapons lost edge with 3 and 4 perhaps but they were still highly entertaining films, the characters were still great. For me they're all canon.

Die Hard has 3 canon-films to me, the first 3, the rest is ***te.

Predator has 2 canon-films - and I find Predators to be something of a guilty pleasure sort of film - I enjoy it but I have problems with it that prevent me from accepting it.

Diehard 3 was lost Canon IMO. The thing that sold me on 1 & 2 where the similarities. Christmas setting, McClain walked into or was stuck into the bad situation and had to rescue his wife, which was what I liked. Yes I know, the originality is gone , but it was still a entertaining plot device that he got involved into two similar scenarios.

Diehard 3 was so poorly written and the revenge factor was just executed bad

I honestly never got the hate,
I saw pred 2 as a kid and glover felt perfectly fine. The story made sense.
He made sense.

Later on in the internet i found all this hate....

I actually liked Ghostbusters 2 after watching it recently. It's definitely more of a "comedy" than the first.

It's weird because I remember hating Ghostbusters 2, but maybe modern movies have caused my standards to plummet.

T2 is good.

I’m glad you said this..I felt GB 2 was a more rounded and better film. The original kind of moved too fast IMO and the plot seemed undefined and not appealing because they had to put the comedy in the wrong spots. Watching both recently.

I think Ramis was more involved BTS and in the script of GB 2 as well. Could be wrong

Gb2 has more ghosts,
Better jokes. I never liked how gb1 has such little ghost scenes.

I always wish i could take the montage scene in gb2 and add it to gb1.

I do hate murray in gb2. U can tell he didnt wanna be in it and u can tell ge told the writers to not put him in the gb suit till the end

Ive watched gremlins 2 3 times more than gremlins 1
