Re: Predator Reboot...

I've been rooting for The Rock to star in a Predator movie for years now but I imagine he's become too expensive now. Karl Urban could do a job as the lead character.

I hope he is too expensive, I don't mind him, but not in this. Urban would be a great fit though..

Urban would be my top choice. As far as who the support actors would be none spring to mind (well who would fit in with the movie's budget restrictions anyway).

Re: Predator Reboot...

Id like this Predator movie to end without the death of the Predator. He comes in, ******'s everyone up, and leaves like a boss.
That would actually be pretty cool. It's the end of the movie, only the one human and the predator left fighting. You naturally expect the predator to die, but shockingly he lands the killing blow on the hero and walks off. The end.

And then a white haired Danny Glover appears and gives the victorious Pred a flintlock pistol.

It would be a fresh take to end that way but it's never going to happen. With the franchise movies the lead actors most likely sign on for multiple movies, even if a sequel never happens. Adrien Brody is probably still waiting on a phone call from Rodriguez...

Re: Predator Reboot...

The predator winning would be great because they could use the same predator for the sequel.

Yeah sure, the human hero would die.. But imagine getting a movie with the same predator. A wounded predator having to fight a whole new group of people..

I'm surprised they never came up with that concept

Re: Predator Reboot...

Maybe this has been asked before, that teaser pic, is that the actual Predator design? I don't think so, it looks like the Predators one.

It's the crappy Classic Predator from Predators. It's just a quick mock up made by Fox although why they decided to use that image and not one from the original movie is questionable.

That could be interesting. I'd rather see a Predator movie that takes place on another planet with the Predator as the hero, and no humans. Still, nothing will ever beat the original film, and do you know why? Arnie, I think people underestimate how important Arnold was to that film, which is probably one of the reasons all the sequels and reboots aren't as good.

I figured, and yeah it's a bad omen :lol

But I'm just glad it's not the official one.

Yeah Arnold was excellent as Dutch. Obviously not a role that was ever going to win awards but it's probably his best ''serious'' non-Terminator performance.
