Maybe hes living hiding in the artic ( predators love heat) so he would probably be living in the snow. A small fishing village,
He keeps to himself and drinks himself silly every night. Has a low key job and lives in a bunker. The bunker is full of guns and explosives. Theres only a bed and a desk with a computer. He keeps checking world news for signs of the predator coming back....
Then the new team pays him a visit

Oh **** that sounds great. You on a row nicca.

Sounds good, but I would have him get killed early in the film by a Predator, then the story starts and the new team or characters become the focus.

Yup, his long lost twin informs him that their ancestors were from a great Cimmerian warrior tribe and the CIA wants him to train soldiers to fight a new Predator, Dutch doesn't know if that is true or just lies, but he knows that he can no longer be a running man from the Predator incident. He gets a raw deal and is terminated from his kindergarden job and on the 6th day he travels to meet the CIA where he has a total recall of the orginal incident, will this new mission be his end of days!

I know its kinda obvious that he dies by predators hand but i kind of wish they didnt do that
Its too obvious. I dont like when they do that in sequels.

Ok, the team dies and the Predator shows up at Dutch's house and they do a BVS stare down, and Dutch is like, "Tell me, do you bleed?" The end. :woo

Maybe Dutch is an elementary school teacher.
Maybe he lives in New York. And changed his name to Hercules so other Preds can't track him down and exact revenge.

I agree that it's probably best not to bring him back, but if anyone can do it right it would be Black. And sometimes an old character can return in a way that works. Han Solo and Rocky are good examples.

Its like why bring back a character that survived so hard against the pred just to kill him off. Its almost offensice to the character.

All I can say is the biggest issue with the (4) sequels was the lack of McTiernan and Arnold.

If I can't get McTiernan, at least give me Arnold.

He's been great lately in his more serious turns. He was great in MAGGIE, as was his role in SABOTAGE.

Its a shame GENYSIS was crap, Arnold gave it his all.

I'd say that Rambo's return was respectable as well. Stallone did a great job bringing back his old characters, twice even for Rocky with his Golden Globe winning performance in Creed. That would be great if Dutch could join the ranks of Rocky, Rambo, and Han Solo. Black hasn't gone soft like so many other writers/directors from the 80's so who knows, maybe he really will be the one to make it happen.

I take it everyone has read the alternate Dutch ending to Predators:

The scene would have had the human survivors sitting bloody and beaten in the jungle. The silence is interrupted by a vibration that grows until it sounds like a freight train is bearing down on them. Once the dust cloud settles, a Predator is is revealed. The door opens and dozens of Predators file out. The humans are screwed now. There’s nowhere to run and even if there was, they don’t have the energy for any more fighting. The Predators don’t attack but part with two single-file lines on each side of the door. Their leader, with armor covered in “trophies,” exits and walks towards them. He slowly removes his helmet to reveal… DUTCH (Schwarzenegger). “Not bad kid…not bad at all,” he says. SMASH TO BLACK.

If Arnie was available this would have happened. Between Fox and Rodriguez they would have destroyed Dutch's character in about 30 seconds of screentime.

Rodriguez turned this franchise to full retard.
the comic sequel shared the same fate...

latest

wtf were they thinking. idiots.

that sounds very dumb. I dont think Dutch would join the preds and i dont think they would want him either. The predator in the first movie just had a weird obsession with catching Dutch but i dont know if an entire group would want him.

that sounds like a crappy ending to a resident evil movie :lol with the cliffhanger and the preds doing single file lines... thats such a resident evil kind of ending LOL
