James Franco. what was he going to do, offer the predator a joint? Was seth rogan going to be the predator?

CAA were pushing for Franco to take the lead as McKenna although he wasn't on Black's list and Franco didn't want the part.

Actually Jye and Clown Prince COULD have an 80s style hero to be in the movie that is big and oily the way they like it:

no before Kyle blew his legs up. If it wasnt for that Sarah would be dead. The Terminator was mostly defeated by a scrawny guy

Reese blew the Terminators legs off, killing himself in the process.
Hydraulic Press finished off the Terminator.

And to be fair as well, Dutch used a log to cripple Predator. But could have finished him off with a good 'ol rock.

The push for big men for me has nothing to do with realistic strength, it has everything to do with cool visuals.

This is why Rocky v Apollo v Clubber v Drago look great in battle and are my go to boxing movies instead of Raging Bull and The Fighter.

The push for big men for me has nothing to do with realistic strength, it has everything to do with cool visuals.

This is why Rocky v Apollo v Clubber v Drago look great in battle and are my go to boxing movies instead of Raging Bull and The Fighter.

Didn't read last six pages.

I just hope it's a good movie and not another embarrassing franchise masturbation for tasteless "fans".
P2 is a good sequel and cult classic only because it was it's own thing with nods to the original here and there.

As long as Rodriquez stays far away from this project, we'll be fine. We'll at least be able to see WTF is going on in the movie!

At this point I'd prefer Dutch to be "untainted." There was a time when I thought his return would be cool but I don't want to see an aging and overly comedic shadow of what he used to be.

I've got so many guys on this thread blocked it's looking like a redacted FBI document

You guys wanting a bulked up 80's style actor will be disappointed.

Affleck, Cooper and Franco (although it was his agents pushing for the role) have all passed on the lead for this. Affleck would have been great but he's tied down to DC so hopefully that's the reason he passed.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned that Harrigan is the only person to have beaten a Predator in a one-on-one fight, well apart from Brody. The point being it's all down to the story - put Harrigan in the jungle and it doesn't work, put him as a crazy ass relentless cop in the city and it works.
