~~Three shakes down, 2 piece white meal from Gladstone's with mashed 'taters and cole slaw :rock

Gonna go back later around 9pm for another 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Swam 30 laps so far today. Weights tonight

So far today I ate.....
Cup of brown rice
4 scrambled eggs
handful of crasins and almonds
turkey dog

Solution 5 2 scoops
Grape fruit 6.5oz

4 oz chicken breast
1/2 cup stir fry veggies
4 teaspoons of natural peanut butter

1/2 gallon of XTEND

about time for another shake.

Ur a beast....before u move u should give me a training session to see if I can keep up. :cool:
 
Chicken sounds good. Have to pick up some and throw it on the foreman tonight. :rock

I've got another breast to finish here at work and then maybe another tonight, I might go with egg whites though it's way easier and quicker to cook once I can't move from the punishment of legs...

Thinking about doing a video at Gold's to show my deadlift routine sometime, not for sure though.

I'm not as hardcore as these guys...but I do believe in portion control. I don't over indulge and I usually just use one of those cooking spoons and measure my portions with that.
 
Yup, this thread is great for support and ideas, but it's not the Freaks guide to better health, everyone here is aiming to achieve different end results and some programs and things will just be too much or not right for what you're doing. Don't treat it as, so and so is doing this so I'll do it, look around, see if something seems right for what you're looking to do and ask around.

What I hope to gain out of this thread is motivation for heart health. A secondary reason is weight loss.

I am 16lb's over my ideal weight, and at 32 it is important that I keep a watch on my cholesterol.

So my goal in terms of exercise right now is cardio 3 days a week. I may get back into weight training again in the future, but that is not my priority.

And I do want to eat better. I wax and wain in my eating habits. Sometimes I go through periods of being strict, and then I fall into allowing occasional junk food eating.
As you know I have been living in column "b" lately! ;)
I agree that portion control is a big deal, but since I'm not looking to be a competitive body-builder, and I'm not on weight watchers, I just eye stuff up, so to speak. And I try not to stuff myself! :lol


As a side point, I take quite a few supplements, but that's not for muscle building and the like, it's to get adequate nutrition. I think a lot of the food (even vegetables) that we eat now are much lower in nutrition than they were, say 100 years ago.
