I'm going to heaven on earth today and for you rice aficionados, white or brown?
I thought brown had less starches ?
Nah, not really if there's any it's like a %1-%2 difference, I remember reading about the difference and it's more myth than anything.
A lil less calories and the brown rice is supposedly more in vitamins because of the husk they are derived from.
Take brown rice for example. Brown rice is simply white rice with a good increase in dietary fiber, some increased fats and protein and lots more nutrients. If you aren't diabetic, it is great to get that extra fiber and the huge dose of carbohydrates won't hurt you. If you are diabetic, having that little bit of fiber does next to nothing to reduce the huge carbohydrate load.
That's good news, cuz brown rice taste like bleh.
I like Spanish rice, but that's probably not healthy at all
But it tastes so good
