Today's breakfast, sorry I was hungry and ate quite a bit of egg whites before taking the pic.

Nomnomnom....

Where's the grapefruit man!?!

I agree about the juicing. My cousin was a two sport college athlete who never did the stuff, but had buddies who did. Most of the guys he grew up with in high school were juice heads. They would go to Mexico and smuggle the crap in their buttholes. One guy almost died twice from infections (dirty needles) and another (who holds all the lifting records at Oregon by-the-way) currently has brain cancer. The doctors can't really attribute the cancer to steroid abuse because of the lack of studies done on roid abuse; however, they told him not to rule it out. long story short, my cousin said "never touch the crap...it can F you up".

I have 5 buddies from my twenties, I'm now 34, that are messed up. :monkey4

Nomnomnom....

Where's the grapefruit man!?!

:lol it's here, the wife made this fruit bowl deal and she said eat it before it goes bad. So there's my fruit carbs for this morning.

It would be nice to just do a couple cycles and be done, but then again, as my cousin said, "at the end of the day, at least you built your body with hard work and dedication; naturally."

I was always training in the weight room. Actually I transferred from two different colleges and teams and whenever I came over to the new team, I surprised a lot of my teammates on how strong my work ethic was towards training. "You are really into this ____ huh Ski, WTF!!!" :lol None of them really put in the focus, hours and day to day determination... well maybe a few but it was rare.

:lol

Wow, very similar situation here. Walked on at a D1 school in IL, screwed up my back, then transferred to a D3 school. My work ethic was like yours...loved being in the weight room any chance I could get! And yeah, most guys weren't even close to that dedication, even at D1. There were a couple, and those guys eventually went pro, but most were more concerned with the next party or next girl.

Sadly, I screwed up my back even more (slipped disc pinching on a nerve) playing FB (RB) my junior year in college and had to make a decision....surgery, quit sports or keep playing risking the pinch would eventually become a cut. Worst day of my athletic life. Still kept lifting, but some of the luster fell off for sure.

and of course... the riods, it wasn't soon after gaining some lean muscle, making gains the ole natural way there's always talk and accusing and assumptions.

I had been accused of 'roids since HS. I'm really not that big of a guy...just had been lifting and studying lifting since I was in 8th grade. Other kids wanted sports magazines, and I had my mom order muscle magazines. :lol

I had a lot of friends that went that route and to TBH they didn't have doctors, blood work, etc... like the pros do and did cycles here and there, got into trouble with their health, had high blood pressure, sex problems :lol etc... It's just not worth it to me and right now as of today, my gains are still here and they are going through so much work to repair what they did in our twenties. It's kind of sad actually, I really don't see doing them unless you had the genetics to go Pro or compete IMO, but that's just me on the subject and even on that profession, there's not enough $$$ to be made to tempt me. Heck, there's no $$$ in Natural bodybuilding, it's more of a hobby like collecting statues and 1/6 figures, customizing. :rotfl

I can't even tell you how cool it is to see someone with your size doing it the natural way. You should be a poster for the youth of America!

Milk is the devil to my body, I know it has a form of sugar but man does it reek havok on any gains for me. I just use the saying of Arnie of milk, "MILK is for babies, once you grow up drink beer!!!" :lol

:rotfl

That vid was hilarious! I may have to put that saying on a pic of Arnie and hang it in my office to keep me off of milk!

I have 5 buddies from my twenties, I'm now 34, that are messed up. :monkey4

34?!!? :panic:

Man, you've got some good years left in you!
I'll hit 39 this year and fighting an uphill battle at this point. :(

I had this all setup for a vid and whenever I shot the vid, my cell fell off about midway during this set. :gah: I'll have to tape it again for you guys, sorry. :(

I think I got for 8 something reps.

Cooking wit Ski Part Deux!

So here we are with the basics, I had the 99% lean ground turkey set out to thaw all day yesterday from 6:00 to noon.

IMAG0215.jpg

Cutting up some ingredients!

1 cup+ green peppers
1 cup+ onions

IMAG0216.jpg

Next we mix the ground turkey and oats, this will be the crust! :rock

Sprinkle some cumen and garlic powder for taste.

IMAG0217.jpg

Apply two cans (it might be 1.5 cans if you don't like too much sauce like me) of 8oz tomato past, really low on sodium.

IMAG0218.jpg

Add in your in your ingredients of green pepper and onion.

IMAG0219.jpg

Now some fat free 2% milk cheese, not really going to hurt us since we are in a decifit with calories...

IMAG0220.jpg

Bake for about 15-20 minutes depend on how crunchy you like it!!!

IMAG0221.jpg

This is what it should look like, all KINDS OF PIZZA MUZZLE!!!!

Did everyone QUIT on ME!!!! WTF!!! :gah:

Ski :D

Not yet, Ski. Just been in a grumpy mood lately so I didn't want to bring my negativity into the thread. :lol

On a positive note, I actually tried fasting (for 20hrs) for the first time in a loooong time, and it actually felt darn good.

Also cut out coffee finally...I think....and would probably explain the grumpiness. :lol

They contradict themselves throughout that whole video. They first say six meals is BS but then say it works, but it doesn't??? Then they go on the say they are eating 3 square meals a day plus snacks? Sounds to me like they are still eating every couple hours. Finally they say "eat when you're hungry". What's the point of fasting if you eat whenever you want? Total horse _____. I'm eating every two hours. Lots of protein and a small amount of veggies all damn day. I'm seeing a reduction in fat on my body and my gains at the gym have been off the chart for me as of late (hats off to Ski for the 12x10x8x4 suggestion).

I personally feel Ski just likes posting videos of these tools for comedy purposes and to spark discussions. At least I hope that's the reason.

sYea it's more or less to start some discussion.

Deal is the most important thing is two things, macros and calorie decifit. That's pretty much it, period. If those are in check you are going to lose weight and retain muscle.

They also don't configure into the equation which I think a lot of people miss is AGE!!!!

If you are freaking 14-26 years (this age group is prime for putting on muscle and growing rapidly), I don't even want to hear about metabolism, because IMO I think you can get away with junk food and be a calorie deciifit and still cut as long as you below your calories. :lol

Once everyone gets older they'll know what I'm taking about whenever it comes down to cutting, you have to watch that much closer because metabolic rate is not the same. Not one persons metabolic rate is the same, especially those which are muscle bound. I'm would shed many more pounds than another guy which is the same age as I but is only like 50% muscle. Our genetic makeups are different, our body compositions are different. I'm a freight train and he's school bus.

IMO, the bottom line is calorie decifit and macros, I think the twins eat 1-6 meals, snacks or whatever BUT... they are below their calorie decifit in order to lose and keep up the high protein in order to maintain.

If anything eating the 6 meals a day keeps your blood sugar steady, no inlusin spikes, cravings down, cravings for junk food down if you are eating healthy etc... With a decent exercise regime and limited calories in the end there's no way you won't lose weight and if you don't something is WRONG health wise (thyroid, hormones, immune system, etc...)
