Been having gut troubles lately, so have dropped off at he gym but radically changed my diet, carbs probably twice weekly and ditched the deep fried for grilled & the chips for salad, have started to reintroduce the gym back to the routine... Glad I haven't lost any strength on the break

Some of you guys are motivational!

During my prime when I was playing variety hockey/track/xc I was about 140lbs and putting up over 200 on the bench plus running under a 5 minute mile! I ran my first 5k recently at 20:17 which is decent for not running for 5 years!

I'm thinking about starting P90x or Insanity. I've always hated taking protein and vitamins though, any suggestions?

Why do you hate taking protein supplements? Taste? Try different brands.

Why don't you eat it?

*Sets a trap.... bear trap to where it'll snap that Badmoon ankle right off.*

I'll stick with the egg white omlet and cottage cheese. :lol

I bet if I had bacon right now you wouldn't have to snap off my ankle. I'd be on the toilet. :lecture:rotfl

Eat that turkey man, just watch the cals and you won't have anything to worry about.

God I hate dairy but that does the same to me as this bacon would do to you perhaps.

I will have to try it. I've been really good with what I have been eating. That would be a nice treat.

Ok, good stuff...good advice on how long it usually might take to get in shape or cut for a amateur/natural/pro show.

Been slacking big time the past 6 months. Many personal things I've been dealing with and the gym/nutrition has been an afterthought. All that being said, I am easing myself back in to my routine. Having surgery in three weeks which will prevent me from working out for at least a month but I feel if I at least start a routine now, I will be ahead of the game post recovery.

Here goes nothing!

Damnit. Been really sick since tuesday. Gonna start smacking people who are sick around me

Edit: smacking not snacking. Stupid smart phone
