What were u taking in with sugars?

Was eating far too much natural sugars. I love sweets...luckily for me most of my sweet tooth comes from fruits like bananas, apples, and jams with no pectin. I don't know if you heard of Smuckers jam, but I am addicted to that stuff. I can spoon feed myself it. No bread or peanut butter needed. I love the double strawberry only though, because it has big chunks of strawberries within the jam. Oh it's soooo soooo good.

I also love fruit smoothies from Bolthouse.

Oh yes... all the fruits :drool What are those again...? :monkey4 PB and J would be heaven for me, prolly taste like pizza by now. Everything taste like pizza after cutting out everything but proten and water :lol

That makes me so glad I'm able to balance things like I am, maybe I'm not losing fat and gaining muscle as quickly as I could, but I'm not cutting out foods I love either, I listen to some people talk about stuff they'd love to eat and don't and I'd go nuts, of course I half lived that way already in life, so it's like getting out of jail and not wanting to go back :lol

Well honestly if it wasn't for wanting to get around 4% I would be eating pizza left and right. A couple times a week wouldn't hurt my progress because my output at the gym is well above average. Keep in my this is only last 8 weeks, it's the nitty gritty. For those just wanting to get in shape, eat what u like and keep the portions down. After this eating healthy is a walk in the park that is after hell and back :lol Literally it is... I do and don't miss doing shows. :monkey1

Taking the kid to the water park in 3 weeks. I don't think that's enough time to work off the gut... Possible? If so, healthy?

Usually 12 weeks is the given...

If possible in 3 weeks it def would b or should I say could be done unhealthy but I think we are talking biggest loser X 3 with lots of determination and strict diet.

I'm doing much better with my eating habits, but I'm not torturing myself either, I am still allowing myself to have the stuff I love in moderation. I have cut down on sweets and junk significantly though. The way I see it I am doing much more exercise now than I had in the past few years, so as long as I don't overdo it with the food I will be able to shed the pounds.

From talking in here, sounds like you and I are on the right track for slimming and shaping up, where some of these guys are really pushing the muscle end which takes a different discipline.

I eat pizza and salad together now, I think that's a good balance of my intake instead of the same filling ammount with just pizza :lol

Maul by Dec, U!!! :rock Show me the guns son!!!

To put it in perspective guys...I worked my ass off for 5 months straight and only shed a few pounds. I rode my bike 2 miles each way to the gym 5 days a week and when I got there I did 30-45 minutes of cardio. On 3 out of those 5 days I also lifted weights for about 30 minutes. I continued to eat like crap and barely noticed any difference in my weight and physique.

Only when I turned semi-vegetarian and stopped eating junk did I finally shed those undesired pounds. Now I only walk my dog nightly for 45 minutes. I never considered diet to be that important of a factor but it absolutely is.

If you cut out the fast food, the soda, and the sweets you will see results very fast. I guarantee it.

This is basically what I'm aiming for, granted it won't look exactly the same I have a different build, but just, strong enough to not be a ^^^^^, fit enough to look like I'm healthy, and shaped well enough if a piece of clothing clings I don't worry because I look like a chick in the chest.

:rock :rock :rock

I literally did NOTHING before, now I am very active and cutting back on the harmful stuff. For instance, before if I went to In-N-Out to get a burger, I would always get a Double Burger, now when I go I get a single and I don't finish my fries. If I eat something like that now I say to myself, "I am working this off tomorrow" and I do, before I'd probably just sit on the couch with a bag of chips. :monkey4 I'm done with all that.

I kid Maul, there's no way anyone would look like the pic I posted naturally.... :monkey1

small traps for a larger dude

Good call Deez maybe u should judge a show :rock

Yea but for some it's a genetic thing for traps, gotta a youngster trying to do everything and anything at the gym to grow some but it's a hard problem spot for packing it there.

Since it can sorta work to illustrate, I'll use it.

I have excess skin in the area I highlighted, I mean it shifts to my bicep in certain postions but 90% of the time it's at the triceps.

Is there any particular excercise to tighted that up, or any bicep, tricep and shoulder exercises plus weight loss will do?

Yeah unfortunately, the weight loss removes from the body as whole and there really isn't a way to spot reduce, if you wanted to tighten it up further maybe some heavier pressing (over head press) on the upper tricep head would push more muscle into the remaining skin once more weight is reduced.
