Mine was still wet when it came out of the box.... when i moved his arms some (varnish?) rubbed off on my finger tips. And he smelled like a$$
I noticed the paint on my fingers as well. It was his left hand.

You're a foul one, Mr. Jabba / You're a nasty, wasty skunk / Your mind is filled with unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk / Mr. Jabba / The words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote: Stink, stank, stunk!

I had no funny smell with mine. Or maybe I'm just used to the paint smells that come from the new figures.
Hell, everytime I open a new SS or Hasbro figure I put it up to my nose and smell it....MMMM, love that new paint smell!

Mine smelled right when I opened him (which is obviously norm for offgasing toys)... but it went away pretty fast. No lingering smell. So I voted in the "No" category....

Mine smalled for a few seconds but was all good pretty quick, It probally helped that it was warm and had the window open.

My throne smelled like a hundred Sharpie markers and got me high as hell. Haven't opened my Jabba yet, but I'll make sure to have proper ventilation when I do.

Well it took about 4 days, but Jabba has finally aired out. Thank God. He was by far the stinkiest collectible I have ever gotten:lol

When you guys say he smells - exactly what kind of smell is it?

New Paint Smell?
Rubber Smell?

Just curious.

Tin

I agree its the paint... and after a few days the paint is no longer tacky and my room smells just fine :D

FedEx is on it's way with the mighty Jabba and the throne, it should arrive any minute now, can't wait to open the box and smell his stench

Smelled for a few minutes right at the opening, but then it went away quickly. Like many others, his arms were a bit tacky, although I wouldn't say they were wet.
