Jabba still smells bad. I got an extra Crumb pack today by mail and I put him and all the critters in my case that Jabba is in. When I took the top off the case my goodness it smelled just like it did when I opened him back in February. I cant believe he still have the new paint smell still. I quickly place Crumb and company in the case and put the top back on.

So is anyone elses Jabba still smelling bad.

Mine is fine but I have it in open air.

I too have "Free-Range Jabba" so any stink has already dissipated throughout the house. No smells here.

All of the Sideshow figures I own have smelled when first opened. Leave the case off and open a window. The smell will dissipate after a few hours.

Well I wonder if I keep him in the case forever if in say 10 years or so will he still have the same smell. Mine was bad enough to give me a headache when I got him so he has smelled bad since I got him.

He was not quite as bad as he was before but I didnt really go smelling him either. I just put Crumb and critters in the case and put the top back on but the smell was still there. I have someone who is making me a Slave Leia custom so I should open it again in a few weeks so I will see if it smells then as well.

Jason, maybe you should retain the smell. That way, if you ever need to sell him, you can list it as a feature on ebay. ;)

I thought about that. I could advertise "Smells just as bad as the day that I bought it."

But there is no way that I would ever sell him.

Mine smelled nasty but I figured it was better than what he would smell like in real life so it wasn't too bad.. plus being in the open he is fine now unless you get REAL close.

wow, i am a little late to post at this but yes mine stunk ,so i washed him with water and dried him off. does not stink anymore...

chinese workers on the collectibles assembly line are not allowed rest stops for up to 10 hours sometimes. i guess you could say jabba has a little wang in him. or on him. :google :lol
