Noo Teddy really? You're the captian of this ship! You practically got it made. You've wanted a Tony forever and I don't think there will ever be another chance.

What can we do to perfect this? The issues of body I have no doubt I can correct on my own, I like the clothing a lot.

It's lacking likeness for me. It's not about being too fat or thin in the face it's all in his eyes nose and brow much like Ras was. I wondering its the paint more than the sculpt? Perhaps his eyes need to be darker.

Really gutted I can tell you. I wanted this more than any other tv show character.

Small mods I can handle if they are going to perfect a figure but I am not sure they will in this case. I loved the sculpt when it was shown but now it has all come together it just seems to lack real quality. The proportions seem off to me.

Yea for me it's still the overall shape of the head itself, Tony's in there but it's like he's wearing some kind of weird fatsuit mask around the rest of his head. Kinda like you can see Eddie Murphy in the Klump makeup but it obviously reshapes the rest of his noggin. I think the clothes and body look great but with that head I'm just not interested. Kinda regret selling my Z sculpt now.

If I were you Ray, I'd only pick this up for the outfit and pop that head on. I feel bad for Denny because I know he was unsure about making this character but the suggestions for the hair and cheeks were disregarded so I just can't justify it.

I actually never convinced Denny of anything. I listed it a few times in the wishlist and that was my involvement! You make it sound like I hounded him to make it.

I received a pm one day from Denny telling me he was going ahead with The Skip and would I announce it for him.

I will not feel responsible for this I am sorry.

I wanted this incredibly badly but the finished product has just not met my expectations.

I can almost garuntee that proportions will be a non issue with proper padding amd swapping etc, if you never liked the head it's the bigger issue.

Me I never liked it I wanted to but it just didn't happen.tjeres something very off, not enough however to not get this figure I may not like it better but at least equally to my other one, my other one is upper middle of the road in terms of my favorites....

Denny should send me the prototype next time, I'm happy to mess around and futz with it and make suggestions.

I almost promise everything needed for a great tony is here with small edits.

Nothing blows my mind more than Michael Corleone, when I got it I thought it looked like a young girl. With a few paint tweaks, eyebrow reshaping, highlight the prominate features that were in the sculpt all along it was a radical transformation. Still blows my mind.

I can promise once I get mine and do my tweaks there will be a few who skipped on the skip wishing they hadn't.

I may be forced to get this for the simple fact that I don't foresee anything undertaking this at this type of quality... With rainman directing, and involved, it does not get better than that. I doubt he'll revisit this, and no other company will get this license... probably ever as that estate will be closely guarded and Gandolfini doesn't seem to be the type to just rent his likeness.

Get it... fuzz with it if needed and or get the piece altered in anyway you feel will make it perfect for YOU.

Even rainman isnt immune from critique or saying it just didnt mean his high standards. That Dexter he I was never keen on, and so have many who have parted with that... especially the gear.

Frankly, I've thought for a while now that people were getting a little drunk on the idea that they could have figures made-to-order by top Korean figure artists. Just start a wish-fer conversation and if you don't quite like it, walk away. Judging from the apparent dropout rate here, I wouldn't expect "interest" threads to result in another figure getting made by Iminime any time soon. Denny is out on a limb here, y'know, if the "interest" suddenly evaporates.

I'm in complete agreement with Ray. I can see how this will all come together. I believe Denny has indicated a fat suit will be added. If not, or if I think it can be improved upon, I have a fat suit in mind, and it's easy to add or subtract Dacron fill to a fat suit to get the right body shape.

Yes that's exactly it I know the issue is people feel they should not have to do it for the price but the truth is it's now or never for Tony Soprano. It's a miracle it even happened at all you guys have to know that. Does it mean you settle? No, but you have to be willing to invest a little time or money into making it the way you want it.

Yup and even simpler, the body that everyone is digging from my Z Tony custom is just a Godfather body suit with regular Hot Toys thigh extenders and regular old cotton balls stuffed out in the right places on the inside and glued in place for security, cheap and easy just a little trial and error to get it looking just right, it won't set anyone back cost wise.

With some better futzing I have no doubt that this right here is an awesome figure.

Maybe start by losing those lame Headplay hands :lol
