Honestly.... I only listened to the audio and read the last few lines of the 616 summary. Everything else was a guess. Nice try though, thinking you know what I read and think :clap

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. I believe you. :lol

(not)

:wave

I'd say "nice try" but everyone ....

I thought the episode was good. I was wondering why Rick and Co didn't just mow down the Savior guys at the first encounter. It looked like they had them outgunned. I'm thinking the person eating the bat is Aaron or Sasha. They mentioned having an episode to give the victim a more fleshed out story next season.

Wasn't as much catching up as I thought. I actually could have safely read the thread before seeing the episode. Finding out someone dies (but we don't know who) is the same information I've had all season. :lol

The Neegan actor should have bulked up more. There were times he looked rather svelte. Plus that red ascot around the neck- what was that?

But all and all it was a decent ep.

It's comic-accurate.

There's been a lot of online hate for the cliffhanger and #WhoIsIt? If it was meant to pique interest in the next season, I don't believe it was necessary. Even so, I didn't mind.

Watching the Negan bit on subsequent viewings somewhat diminishes the tension and the terror but seeing it the first time around was simply chilling. I was enthralled by JDM's performance.

And most shows don't build up a whole season plus and don't pull the trigger.
They didn't build a whole season up though. If it weren't for the comic and the spoiler thread no one would know that a major character was going to be killed by Neegan now would they. It would be a cliff hanger just like countless other shows to grab the viewers interest and make them tune into the next season.[/QUOTE]

Actually, all the promos for the show the past couple of weeks has talked about "a price will be paid". So it was pretty much a given that somebody was going to die.

Yeah, I thought he looked kind of small, not exactly the intimidating figure I expected.

He looked much bigger as the Comedian, surprised he didn't bulk up a little for the role.

:lol

Someone should put Benny Hill music to all the scenes of Abraham just driving the motorhome up to a roadblock, backing up, driving to the next roadblock, backing up, etc. :lol

I can see that image done in South Park animation. Someone will make a meme.

Good!

I'm not a sheep that goes along with the rest of the herd, I think for myself and have my own opinion. :wave

So... you are calling everyone who disagrees with not killing someone off sheep who just follow the herd?

Even though what you said is right....
The four resident defenders of this show can't handle being wrong. One even put me on ignore because he was so mad I was right.

I don't get all the hate for this episode either. Like, who in the hell is "pissed" because of the cliffhanger? Um, ever read a comic book? Mot of the time, each issue leads to another. This is not something new.

Internet trolls simply wanting to find something to complain about.

Just watched it again with my wife. JDM absolutely nails that scene. My wife had to put a blanket in front of her face when he started the "eenie meenie" bit. While I don't think we needed 90 minutes for the episode I think that last half hour was among the best sequences of the series.

:lecture QFT.

Internet trolls simply wanting to find something to complain about.

Yup and they'll do it ad nauseam. :rolleyes2

How many comic books leave a cliffhanger for six months with a great chance of the the big surprise being spoiled by leaks/trailers?

Zero.

Comic books have a wait of 2-4 weeks. That is what comic books do. That is how they sell. Even then, in the comics, I'm pretty sure no one had to wait until the next issue to find out who Negan killed.

Majority of people are upset with this. So, unless you want to call tens of thousands of people "trolls," the complaint is perfectly valid.

Yeah, let's round up all the people that had some criticisms and call them trolls. Great argument from the Walking Dead defenders brigade, as usual.
