I just watched the finale again, and I actually enjoyed it far more the second time. I still thought the cliffhanger was irritating, but I really enjoyed everything else. JDM's portrayal of Negan was perfect, and his entire 11-minute scene was absolutely spectacular. Also really liked Morgan's kill to defend Carol from the Savior, as well as Eugene's "farewell" scene with Rick and Abraham.

The animosity toward the cliffhanger is totally understandable, but otherwise I'd say the finale was excellent. Just my opinion though, I get why people didn't like the episode.

Still a huge fan of the show, and I'll certainly be back for Season 7. It's gonna be a long summer.

Oh and btw, "b**** nuts" has been added to my list of favorite Abe-isms.

I happened to not have a huge problem with what they did in this finale but, yeah, this^

Defenders should either refrain from using the troll-label or be specific about who they're aiming it at so other people won't take offence when they make a general statement that appears to link all complaints about the show with trolling and ''nothing better to do'' etc etc. Same goes in any thread, most notably the BvS thread since the film came out.

It's fine if some people here liked the finale, that doesn't take away from the fact that the great majority is really angry about how AMC handled this. Reddit is exploding over it, Gimple and Kirkman are getting an absurd amount of bad feedback on twitter and on news site. I mean this is now the LOWEST rated TWD episode, on IMDB, of all time. That's got mean something.

I can understand why people are so upset. They build up so much and deliver nothing in the end. They robbed the fans and ruined the most iconic comic scene. There is no shock value anymore, by the time this show comes back for Season 7 nobody is going to care who died ... specially because you just KNOW the death will be spoiled soon. TMZ has done in the past.

They can't even do a trailer or a commercial for season 7 without spoiling it. AMC blew this one big time.

Come to think of it, if I were Negan I wouldn't be keeping any of these guys alive. They're probably the first group the Saviours encountered that not only put up a worthy fight but actually initiated the fight with a major offensive. I'd have to wonder are they really worth the risk and I'd be thinking if anyone will rebel it's this group.

Well I'm sure the person who "dies" will still be in half of Season 7 via flashback. So he/she will probably be in all the trailers with the thought that it'll then be a huge shock when he/she dies before the opening credits.

He looked much bigger as the Comedian, surprised he didn't bulk up a little for the role.
