I always wonder or day dream about what would Shane have done with the Gov or Negan. Im sure shane would have tried to kill the Gov as fast as he could.

I wonder what shane would have done with Michonne showed up. Or what Shane would have done in terminus....

I personally like to think he would have won all of those situations

Shane would have been the first to die with the Gov and Negan around. Shane would have been the ideal leader for now but back at the start no-one had his back - not even his best friend. The Gov had his people and Negan has an army, Shane had his head scratching.

I'm looking forward to rewatching those early seasons one day. Definitely agree about the cast and storylines being stronger. Would have been interesting seeing what would have happened had Shane survived too. He was definitely one of the better characters.

Personally I think if he stayed in charge and the love triangle didn't rip everyone apart, I think Shane would have had them kill the Governor before any of that stuff came back and bit them like it did..

Now Negan on the other hand is a different story. There's just too many damn people in Negans group. And Shane seemed more about killing everyone his group came across and keeping his people out of harms way but with Negan he would have had to recruit groups of people to even stand a chance. And Shane had little interest in that.

There was definitely something special about those Darabont episodes. I might someday pick up the blu-ray set for Season 1 just to have a compartmentalized keepsake of those first six episodes. Hell the ending of them riding off into the sunset probably won't be much different than whatever the actual series finale will be.

I love Andrea in the GN, hated the actress and what they did with her character in show.

I canny wait for the season finale where they introduce the Whisperers and the internet loses its ****.....hopefully that IS a cliffhanger.....

Am I the only one who did like a happy dance when the series got rid of Shane? He was so annoying and all he did well was beating Ed when he needed it. Haha.

I watched the whole series from the beginning in the summer break, just in time before the season 7 started. To remind everything fresh in mind. (Or actually I still have some last episodes of season 5 to finish but otherwise watched it all.)

I´m very curious about the mid-season finale. Specially to see what happenes to Carol and Daryl!
