As a huge fan of the story (comic and TV)

This season has been a travesty.....the comics this arc comes from is also a terrible run for the story. How many times can we be assaulted with the same story episode after episode. The saviors take stuff.....it makes everyone mad. Repeat.

Clearly we are seeing greed taking over at AMC and it will be the death of the show, as it has been with many great shows before it. The sheer volume of selling (commercials and product tie ins) is overwhelming at this point. Talking dead is now nothing but a constant commercial for related products.

The sad thing is , the end of this arc is really interesting. But unless the cram all the good stuff in the last episode, there is not way they have enough time to set up what is needed to tell the battle story this season. If they they to it will not have the impact needed. If they wait till next season, we get a ton more of these awful filler episodes.

They are killing the show.......one episode at a time.

It's actually the reason I bailed on it completely after the utter dog **** ending it was given.

Excellent post. You nailed it

When it comes right down to it, comics, tv shows, whatever, are basically the same things over and over again.

I know people (and not just women) who have watched the same soap opera all their lives. I used to watch them when I was younger and home during the day. Maybe that's why I'm more accepting than others.

I know nothing of the comics. Are they still making new ones?

The last I heard Kirkman wanted 300 issues and it's at 162 right now, but yes it's ongoing.

How does the comic move on after All Out War? It's hard to imagine where the TV series goes from here. Same old, looking for supplies?...

they encounter a group called the whisperers. a group who wear zombie skin to blend in with herds. Negan also becomes a captive of Rick's and eventually gets out and I believe fights with Rick against the whisperers

Negan doesn't just
fight with Rick against the Whiperers, he saves Rick's life several times.
