Heh. Would've made more sense if Daryl had been in the picture ...

Everyone seems determined to hate characters. I don't hate anyone - the show is class, just watch it and see what happens.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

And if Daryl showed any signs of being a white supremist neo nazi - me thinks someone has a fairly stereotyped attitude toward rednecks :D

No doubt. I got zero beef with any character, even when they deserved a shot some of their actions were justified. I mean it IS a show about a zombie apocalypse. :lol

I don't dislike any of them. Just thought it was funny.

Yeah, the really crappy brother bit it. Daryl is pretty awesome I think for the most part but he was kind of sucky this past week with his attitude. As far as characters I don't care for I really don't like Andrea at all. If someone had to get whacked I'd pick her easy.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

The thing about Daryl is he's also probably a bit riled up by what phantom Merle said to him. They didn't put that stuff into that episode for it to have no impact on his character later on.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I really like what theyve done with Andrea. She's the character behind shane who has undergone the biggest transformation. She's a down-ass chick now. She volunteers for stuff and wants to be the best she can be at killing walkers. She quit that laundry detail and picked up a gun.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

is funny because the girl that plays Andrea, I liked her, she was good in Silent hill, the Mist, I liked her, but now because of this show every time I see her I get an annoying feeling, Can't help it, can't even look at her now lol

Don't forget Laurie Holden also played Marita Covarrubias from the X-Files! :rock

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I keep forgetting T-Dawg is still on the show. Damn, that is one boring, purposeless character.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Glenn, Rick, Daryl, and to a degree, Shane are all decent characters. Don't like the rest. Borderline hatrid.

Andrea is getting better, but Lori and Carol are down there. Really boring, useless characters.

Oh and T-Dog...If he died, I wouldn't be bothered. He hasn't done anything worth ____.

My only problem with this show is, and will be until it's fixed, is that those women characters are just useless as human beings in this world. I don't like that. If one woman was strong, and the rest were weaker, I wouldn't have a problem, but for the most part, they just _____ and _____ and _____.

Andrea picking up the gun and killing those Walkers was great. That was a good moment.

But Lori...oh my. I hope two things happen. She A: Dies and never returns. Or B: Gets tougher. Stops _____ing. And fights back.

And before anyone says it...yes, I want them to be like Ellen Ripley. She was pushed, so she pushed back. And ended up stronger then the male characters. I don't want Alice. I want Ripley.

I really want to see this show to go back to surviving. The farm is boring. There's no tension there. Even if the Zombies showed up. I want to see them back out there, in the streets. A zombie could show up at any time. I want that survival aspect back. Looking for food, looking for supplies. That fascinates me the most.

And that last scene really made me want that. Man VS Man. Survival of the fittest. Far more compelling then Zombies, or Lori's problems.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Hopefully that last scene is an indicator of things to come.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I don't get the thinking in some corners of fandom (Doctor Who is really bad in this respect) where if a character isn't funny or likeable or bad ass then they don't like the character. I can't think of anyone in TWD that I would consider a bad character.
