Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

When the hell are they going to reveal what Jenner says to Rick?

You'd think they would this season...

They said it will be revealed this season. Still 2 episodes left. :panic:

Will be interesting to see how they reveal it and indeed what was said...

The last second of season 2 episode 13 :lol

Jenner says, "I use to be a cop like you, until I took an arrow in the knee."

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Kinda hard for them to attack if you're locked up inside the house.

And it also works well from another perspective - the outsiders show up and there's a dozen walkers wandering around the farm, it might imply to them that there's no one left, and it's not the safe haven they thought.

Doubtful. They have to have a good way to release them without being seen by either party. Most likely if they were able to figure that out, the army will get there with a bunch of walkers banging on the doors. Then, again, you have two threats to contend with, with the opposition being more content on getting inside for security, or locking themselves up in the barn for security while the zombies break into the house. This doesn't include all the potential innumerable walkers (potentially even a heard) coming as a result of the repeating gunshots from the opposition. So when all is said and done, you have 100+ walkers surrounding the house. Out manned, out gunned, it's FUBAR. Classic example of backing yourself into a corner.

Kirkman promised by seasons end. As Mightytrex said, expect it to be the final moments of the epilogue of the season finale. :monkey1 :lol

Not sure what that'd have to do with what was said. I don't think Shane is going to turn as a result of the cut on his hand. Now if he somehow gets killed by the kid or his group during the inevitable attack and then turns, then maybe.

Super spoiler....
Carl kills him and he comes back and Rick has to tell the group.

As much as I'd like to see that happen since it's a direct tie-in to the books, I just don't see how that gets worked in. Especially since we know that he's squared away with Rick, albeit reluctantly, and we saw in the preview that...

Lori apologizes for all the ____ she's put him through.

I don't think they're squared away considering the talk Shane had with Andrea and I think that relationship will get even more strained up to the finale. I also think with everything they did with Carl this past week they're leading up to it and I think the Lori apology will end up just being something to play with our emotions when it finally happens.

I'd like to think they put more value into the writing than that. But you might be right given that completely obscure scene with Lori taking off after Rick, Glen and Hershall that was completely devoid of any relevance. So here's hoping they're more clever than that.

Thats what I believe. Good to see you back man :wave

Thanks but I never left, just trimmed the fat. :wave :lol

Got tired of discussing this show with people who not only don't know the comics, but don't know much about zombies in general, so made this thread an exception.

Super death mega comic do not click spoiler that probably won't happen spoiler:

So here's my guess....Jenner's secret was that they were all infected already(airborne virus). I'm guessing there is a tense moment and Carl shoots Shane and he comes back without a zombie bite and Rick spills the secret. Shortly after that a walker herd runs them off the farm to the prison and we are kinda close to the comics for season 3 kind of.

It's already been speculated in the open forum, so it's not a "spoiler." Also, it'd make Rick a liar based on his statement to Shane at the Public Works. Honestly, I can't see Rick hiding a secret that big. It concerns the entire safety of the group and keeping it from them would hurt them more than not doing so. Plus, it's not significant enough to be a world-defining secret. Seems like something Rick would've shared right off the bat. "Don't worry about the walkers' blood, we're all already infected. It's just the bites you gotta worry about." It's got all the potential shock value of Clay Aiken coming out of the closet. :lol

Hmmm....I was pretty shocked and it seems like it would be even more of a hope-killer on a pretty miserable group.

Not really. Especially when Rick's already said, "Death is still death." It would just mean that in order to stay dead, trauma has to happen to the noggin. It'd be a stress reliever, especially when encountering walkers. Besides, with a lack of proper hygienic means, and the sheer amount of walker blood splattered, someone would've turned by now. We've seen people wipe their brows after dispatching, burying, "double-tapping" walkers and the eyes are one of the most vulnerable means of contraction. It's not like these people are bathing after walker encounters and performing scrubdowns. :lol
