so Daryl was unemployed... like, for his whole life?

I always pictured season 1 Daryl as around 19-20. So thats not unheard of. Even more if he relied on his brother to get him everything. When they werr hungry they hunted.

I dont think he graduated high school either with his stories with Merle being about drugs and alcohol.

that's a good point. I didn't think about his age.

And I'm getting tired of flipping back and forth every week from one group to another. Seems like you lose focus on what was happening with a particular group. Get them back together already get on with it!

well the separation happened in the comics right?
And they will probably get together soon enough, It would be worse to have them Flip back and forth between groups each episode. Imagine having all the groups being shown in the same episode..... that would be madness.

So you're finding it hard to follow just a select few episodes that deal with different characters even though they start showing the previous weeks' episodes beforehand? :lol

I suspect when everyone ends up back together we will find out that there were near misses where they didn't connect. When Rick was about to shot the guy on the porch someone in the house yelled something about a woman and she was getting away. Since they didn't take off after Michonne and Carl, it obviously wasn't her they were talking about. Could have been Carol, Maggie, or Sasha. We might see later some of the group seeing the fire set by Daryl and Beth. I feel sorry for the twenty/thirty something ADD suffers who can't enjoy anything that doesn't contain non stop action/violence. Guessing Beth had already had a visit from Buster Hyman if drinking alcohol for the first time was at the top of her bucket list.

I love that anyone who isn't enthralled by every single episode is automatically branded as having ADD. It's always the go to insult from those that are for some reason offended by others who don't share their opinions.

OK, did it bother anybody else not knowing what happened to all those people in the clubhouse? They were dead but I didn't see any head trauma on them but yet they weren't walkers. At first I thought maybe those that were hanging took them out but they would've have to known that them hanging themselves would mean they would turn and be a rotting pinata, right? The episode was slow and boring to me but I still can't figure out what happened inside the country club unless I missed something.

Also, the rich B was cut in half right? The whole scene confused me.

Any thoughts on what went down?

I must have ADD because I found the episode very boring and just not holding my interest at all. The "exciting" parts were lackluster. And neither one of those characters last night are interesting enough to be the starring role. Darryl works best as a mysterious supporting character. I dislike him as a lead and hearing about his past and his drunken whining did nothing for me. They tried to add substance to some of the characters, but it didn't feel worth viewing.

The rich ***** I believe was cut in half because the legs looked like mannequin (sp?) legs. I thought the people who hung themselves than turned to zombies was the best part of last night's show.

I dont think hes supposed to be 19- 20 I mean Reedus is 45, hes not playing that much younger, maybe early 30's.

:exactly: Character development is extremely important. Especially to a series like this where zombies are a back drop to the story of how humans cope with a catastrophe like the zombie apocalypse.

The zombie apocalypse "saved" people like Daryl. Think about it, he lead a worthless existence with not much in way of a family structure. Then the **** hits the fan and he has self worth, people who look up to him and a family.

I think all the time who would I be if an event like this took place. I'm not necessarily certain anyone knows for sure. You could be everything from the Governor to Rick and anything in between. If I still had my wife and kids, I would probably end up extremely terrified on a daily basis. If they didn't survive, I probably would not give two ***** about anyone else. Or I could turn out to be someone I didn't even think I had the capacity to be.

That's the true beauty of this show. And I believe they do such a great job of hitting all the points of behaviors that would exist in this new world.

Constant action and peril misses the entire point of the series.

One of the best posts I have read on here in a long time. :clap

I liked the revelations, but thats ws a bit boring.
They did a bitf the same thing with the katana girl but the épisode had a great pacing and stuff happening.
A touching but only ok épisode.

It was was an ok episode IMO, they can't all be grand slams. I was curious about the club house as well, it appeared that the people were slaughtered and I don't mean by zombies . After seeing the "Rich *****" sign, I was reminded of the cabin that "Phillip" & friends raided for supplies where all the bodies had signs on them. Anyone else think there might be a connection?

Or it's considered trolling. This is my response to those people.
