All she does is click a chalk board? I don't know any film professional that does that? Did you make that up? And I never knew an AC did Set Dec either. Ha. I won't being to know the pressures of an airport and you clearly don't know nothing about a film set, so don't pretend to.
You proved your ignorance again. So long.

You're right I've never been on a film set, is being a brain damaged moron a prerequisite? I suppose it has to be to not understand general and basic safety like don't play on train tracks without permission. I guess she was never 5 and learned those things.

Hey when your on a film set do you know not to run into traffic or jump out of a plane without a parachute or is it just anything goes? Do you just assume that the movie magic on screen affects everyone filming it too and you can get shot and blow up?

She picked job and money over the safety of herself and others, end of story. If one person on that train had died, she'd be the opposite of a hero, she'd be a murderer.

Lol, usually your posts are great, Deckard, but you sound like a jerk talking about this girl. No need to scold someone that's already dead. It's kinda stupid.

Have you seen the way hollywood and major celebs are turning her into a martyr? I think it's absolutely necassary to keep reality in check, what she did was stupid and dangerous and endangered innocent lives on the train but they're turning her into a hero for better treatment of such crew members. She is not the person for that cause, at all. Someone like the guy who died filming TDKR is. She is not.

Was what she did based on a presupposed notion that someone else in authority was looking out for her safety? If so, then I would say pass the buck on up.

Yes, that is exactly the point.

The grown ups (above the line) didn't do their job and a below the line crew member paid the price.

4 articles simply claim they had no permission, the only thing I can come close to finding that backs you up is this :

Russell Schweiss, a spokesman for Rayonier, said the film crew had been granted permission to shoot on the company's land for one day. The film crew had separate discussions with CSX about the bridge and tracks, he said.

"I'm not privy about what access they had to CSX property," Schweiss said. "They were well aware of the property boundaries."]

They weren't even in the correct place, they moved down the tracks to a bridge without permission that they never got to begin with.

You have to remember that True Detective is a new show and of course it's going to be exciting, etc., just like TWD was when it first came on. Give TD a few more seasons and see if you still feel as excited. I have a feeling these so-called filler shows are leading up to something and are necessary.

Different types of shows True Detective is an anthology series, each season will be a new story, cast and setting. That will keep it exciting each season. TWD has the same cast and storyline which they have to drag out over multiple seasons.big difference

My impression is that it sounds like it was someone's job to pass that info on to whoever decided to put her into harm's way (unknowingly, likely) . That is where the responsibility lies.

To use an airplane analogy: If the control tower directs a pilot onto a runway that already gave clearance for another plane to land and a collision occurs; loss of life, etc.. The blame lies with the control tower not the pilot or the passengers on the plane.

So uh... TWD anyone?

Hopefully for those who watch it, it will be.

Right, and it's the job of the Locations Manger (above the line) and all those in the Locations Dept along with the producers (above the line) to make sure the permits are being followed correctly. Which they weren't. It is also on them to make sure the set is safe. They did not have permission to be on the tracks. I HIGHLY doubt Sarah and the other below the line members even knew they didn't have a permit to be there. If Locations had done their job they would have halted the production the second the director said "lets go over there." But again, people fear saying no cause they don't want to loose their job. If the Director had been worried about his crew instead of simply just getting the shots and his vision he never would of went near the tracks knowing he didn't have permission. It wasn't Sarah's job to question if what they were doing was legal. It wasn't her job to put the set on the tracks. Her job was to do her job (no one else's) and do as she was told. As I said earlier not doing what you're told gets you blacklisted.

Did you read the article? THey all knew man. They stopped filming twice for two other trains on the same tracks they were on. The one that hit the bed was the 3rd train and as I said, they did see it coming, it did not "come out of nowhere."

If your not, you should definitely check it out

Best show on tv atm imo.
