Gator is good fried, snake might be okay. But I'm not catching one unless I have to. lol

They did say on TTD what they ate was actually an eel and they both hated it.

I dunno if it's been mentioned, but when Daryl was throwing darts at the golf members picture was one of them the "scientist" sans mullet?

Did you read the article? THey all knew man. They stopped filming twice for two other trains on the same tracks they were on. The one that hit the bed was the 3rd train and as I said, they did see it coming, it did not "come out of nowhere."

They were given a train schedule (which showed two trains) because they were shooting in the area. Of course they had to stop filming when the two went by. You can't film while a train is rolling by for sound. After the two went by they illegally moved onto the tracks because they thought they were in the clear, which they weren't. Knowing where you can and where you're not aloud to shoot isn't a camera assistant's job. You just follow and do as you're told.

Thought the episode was fine. Not sure what a lot of you are expecting. Sure the plot moving forward was slow, but who cares it'll get there. I like ep's like this.

I don't follow the comics so maybe that helps.

You might be right...older and fatter. They did pause a bit on the last guy as Daryl stuck a dart in his chin.He was the one that looked to me a bit like a chubbier, better coiffed version of Eugene.

Everyone by now should know what a WD "filler" episode looks like. You either love em or you hate em.

Apparently that was a prop guy according to Talking Dead. :lol

After the prison assault, I recall Nicotero saying on TTD that some of the splintered groups might not ever meet back up at all.
Of course he could've been talking about the people on the bus and the characters we never really knew. Or he might have just been lying to keep us guessing, but I'm still considering that as a possibility until they are actually all back together.
It would be much more difficult to maintain the story for much longer being spread out across multiple groups, but we know at least 2 of them will be meeting up down the railroad tracks soon.

I'm getting more and more certain the spin off will indeed be a spin off and it will be one or two of the other groups.

Rick, Carl, and Michonne will obviously end up with Carol, Tyreese, and the girls at Terminus. Other than that, there is no real indication any of the other groups will ever meet up with anyone else.

And this episode only served to set up Daryl's death. He won't be the last man standing. That's now what he wants. He's going to die saving Beth. This episode was his death build up episode like Herschel had earlier this year. :lecture

Really think Daryl goes down this season?? IDK, think he has to much to offer longer term

Glenn/Mullet guy/Bob/Sasha/Carol/tyrese/those two kids, all zombie fodder

Wasn't fond of that episode myself. The ending was silly, I'm sorry but you just wouldn't do that, you wouldn't burn down your shelter in these kind of circumstances for some silly cathartic $h!t. And why would Daryl go along with this kid's silly ideas?

Lastly, and this admittedly is nitpickery of the highest order, anyone else sick of the same generic zombie growl? Get some different creepier sound effects instead of just some guy going eeeeerrgghghgerrrrrrrghhhghhhh! Reminds me of any given demon in Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel. They all made the exact same stock sound.

Agreed. Just watched the episode and facepalmed through the last 5 minutes or so. What an awful Days of Our Lives ending. :lol
Surely there would have been a less stupid way to show them moving on and getting some sort of closure other than burning down the first decent hideout they've come across. :slap

And that song... :monkey4

R.I.P. rattlesnake

what gets me is that how these limping sacks of **** can be so stealth and not make a sound for like 50ft through dead fall and leaves etc. only to catch people totally off guard and then they either barely manage to escape or end up getting a bite somewhere. Some times the show is brilliant and then its so laughable my 10 year old kid could direct and write better than what I've viewed.

***waiting for the assaults and insults*** :monkey3:monkey3

It wouldn't surprise me after last night's episode. It really seemed to play him up as being a survivor in this world - and I think he realized its really not any better than his life before the apocalypse. He's definitely going to die saving someone at some point, even if it doesn't end up this season.

Rick will go before Daryl.

Not a chance. Daryl will be gone by the All Out War storyline at the least.

I honestly have always hated when they've used songs, even when I wasn't so nitpicky about the show. Doesn't really fit IMO, leave that to Greys Anatomy.

I'm finding too many of the walker scenarios a bit contrived and/or superfluous. The bus thing - wtf even happened there? How could that have happened? This isn't World War Z where you're bitten and are almost instantly a zombie and so no one had a chance to escape. How did a bus full of people become walkers? Or how did a bunch of walkers get onto the bus and get locked in? Why was the bus stopped? The guys who died on the train tracks that Tyreese tried to help - how the hell were they taken by surprise by walkers in the open like that. There wasn't even that many of them. How did they fail to kill so few walkers even without Tyreese's help? Is everyone but the core group completely incompetent?
Exactly why is the forest so full of walkers that you can't stay in one place for more than 5 minutes? In season one they seemed to be on that hill for a long time - out in the open, until eventually a herd came through. Season one - and season two aswell for that matter with the farmhouse - gave the impression that the cities were full of walkers but in the country you could find a place with a reasonable expectation of being able to stay there for awhile.

Another nitpick - is it my imagination or are they putting the word '$h!t' into every episode lately? Too little too late, now it just seems weird to have people suddenly saying it every episode where I recall there being little to no profanity before. It's such an ineffectual curse word anyway. F bombs or GTFO with that '$h!t'.

Carbon monoxide poisoning? :dunno

Maybe we will find out in a future episode.
