Having to wait 24 hours on a eBay refund. It's electronic funds, ****ing send it.
Omg I hate when someone buys something, never pays (auction), and then I have to wait to get final value fee back. It's annoying because by the time I relist it, the bidder who got outbid at the last second is either no longer interested or has bought the item elsewhere.
That reminds me of a few years ago when I took out a Time Warner Cable package, cancelled to get a better deal, and waited four weeks for a refund. I think some companies make you wait, because they're using your money and it pains them to give it back. But, if it's funny, if you happen to be late on a bill or a payment to them, all hell breaks loose.
yeah it seems like Evilbay is growing closer to 15% fees in near future. I'll stop selling then.
do you have to pay just for posting an item? amazon lets you post for free
but does ebay asks you for money just to post even if you dont sell your item?
My Comcast bill keeps steadily going up with additional fees. And if you don't pay it immediately, they slow your internet connection. Almost $300 a month for ****** service... I'm this close to trying Fios.
Choosing cable/internet service is pretty much choosing the lesser evil (much like our election), but I can tell you that I've been more satisfied with Verizon Fios than any other cable/internet provider, Comcast included.
Do you mind me asking what services you get? $300 seems a little high. Do you have premium channels, and/or higher speed internet? I got rid of all my pay channels, so basic cable, basic internet (works fine, but I am considering increasing the internet speed), and a land line package is in the neighborhood of $200 a month for me.
''Payment Declined'' - why? Why??! Hate ringing my credit card company. Why no notifications by text? When BBTS charges my card I get a text asking me to confirm the transaction even though I use that site regularly and have done for years. But when something apparently merits putting a hold on my card they don't send a ****ing notification? WTF?
My order already had complications and was delayed from their end, now this ***t
I think it's a basic triple play. I only got HBO, only to watch Sopranos on Demand. It was $220 a few years ago, but it keeps getting cranked up. I look at my bill and it's nothing but additional taxes that are killing me. I might call and threaten to cancel and see if they can give me a promotion.
I've felt like this looking at my bill the past year.
I'm going to have to go to work Comcast's billing department with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.
I'll see what I can do on the weekend when I have time.
BTW Marcellus and Jules are the only reason to watch PF.
Yeah, just tell them that your bill is too high, and you're wondering if it can be lowered. Also, tell them you're getting great offers from Verizon and DirectTV and are considering switching, but you love Comcast's service and would like to stick with them. If you get a crappy agent on the line who's difficult to work with, call them back at a later time. It takes some work, but with some persistence, you'll definitely be saving some money. You can have your fiance call them up, too, because the ladies can be convincing if a lonely man picks up at the other end . I had my mom do it for me this year, and one of my female friends from college the year before - worked like a charm .
Point is, cable companies have enough competition in this day and age. They'll want to keep their customers instead of letting someone else take them.
