There's 6 stalls in the men's restroom where I work. So I use one at the far end. A minute later a guy sits in the one right next to me. Five empty stalls, he choose that one. Then he begins to have explosive diarrhea and gas.

Luckily I haven't had to deal with that, but I've seen other men do it. I honestly think most of them have a scat fetish.
I always get to the movie early yet whenever people come in, they have the whole theater but choose to sit one seat away from me. Never fails.
Same with parking a car away from everyone. I can park clear out in the parking lot by myself then when I come out, there's cars on either side of me but no where else close.
Not as bad as your "problem" though.

Mens restrooms are disgusting. My uncle said whenever he went to a baseball game, the men would piss in the sink.

In college men pissed in garbage cans. And corners.
One frat had something called the trough. It was a drain that ran the length of the basement. People put stuff in there beyond urine. The smell would get you when you walked in the front door.

Interesting. When I was wee lad I worked at a movie theater. Women's restrooms where always FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR more disgusting than the men' s restroom.
worked at hotels. I can confirm. the worst in men's was just pee all over the floor or bad smell. (ladies rooms were a true nightmare sometimes, some really sick stuff)
My older brother said the same of pub toilets when he worked in one....a pub I mean. He didn't work in a toilet.
