We have some old state laws that rear their ugly heads once in awhile. They are usually blown down though.

Yeah probably nothing will come of it. There's even speculation that someone deliberately brought this Stephen Fry thing back up merely to draw attention to the fact this law still exists so as they'll do away with it.

Fry's quote can be used in response to any instance when someone says "I'm offended".

He definitely should not be prosecuted for speaking his mind (what a terrible law if it is indeed true.) But I actually love the fact that he called out himself and most other atheists as not simply disbelieving in God but rather hating God and feeling themselves morally superior to God which has always been the true nature of atheism. Bravo for your honesty Stephen. Now I don't think that he'll ultimately be happy for the misguided logic he has chosen to cling to but free will allows us all to choose our own path.
