Yeah I saw the /co/ fixes, I really wish they had moved on to giving him the Destroyer arm already, and yeah, just like in Ribic's concept it should've been pretty large and disproportionate.

And short hair + beard. Just no.

Yeah, the whole thing is a mess. I don't mind gold, but it works best in accents. Look at Iron Man. In the comics it works perfectly as it's used mostly to break the monotony of the red, but in the MCU with Mark 42, they made him gold with red accents, and the whole thing looked like a mustard can. Certain colors don't work as bases.

IKR? I just don't understand dem artists sometimes. For example, chainmail pants always felt really stupid to me, not only in terms of logic but also because it lools like fishnets over pale legs.

:lol

Well, we can't see through his chainmail so I guess he has actual pants underneath.
But yeah, chainmail over naked body is one of those oldschool fantasy tropes that just scream stupid.

I always assumed leather pants before chainmail, it can work well, Ribic does it nicely, also the design previous to NOW had nice looking chainmail.

This design just looked bad.

Ribic's chainmail looked much more like plate armor over pants tho.
Still, it just makes zero sense to have armor over your legs while leavin' arms unprotected.
I prefer classic Thor who never looked armored in any way. It also adds to the God image.

He does wear plates on his amrs occasionaly.

But, you can protect your upper body you're wielding hands, but you're always at risk of a weapon bouncing off on to your legs, that's why Ribic's design has a little plating on the front of his thighs, without wearing it on his arms, like he just doesn't care.

Also, a god can wear armor, only it's armor for godly weapons tho, not human weapons, but he can draw some majestic stuff without armor too.

Man, that looks funny! :lol

I can understand that but still traditionally upper part of your body comes first.

Well, then it should be full armor for gods and civil outfit for mortals. :)
