Anyone with sales threads finding it to be a common occurrence that people are PMing you about stuff you sold ages ago?

I've maintained the same thread since the beginning, updating as time goes on, albeit updating just my first post, under the assumption that that's what people look at. But it turns out people are going through my whole thread, seeing items that I no longer have and PMing me about those.

Credit Card fraud. Some asswhipe tried to use my card number today. Thankfully the card company called me and stopped the card till they talked to me.

Agreed. But some freaks just leave their sale threads open either because they didn't upgrade to Premium or they just don't care to update it after their stuff was sold. In such situations, anyone who comes across a wanted item in a thread feels compelled to make sure if it's still available.

Happened to me a couple of months ago, some guy in Chile tried to buy airline tickets with my number. Pain in the butt updating all my various utilities which draw on my CC for monthly bills, but at least the bank was on top of it.

...that I was in line for the online Comic Con registration for the ticket sales since 7am. I was in the queue and my daughter grabbed my phone to take photos of herself and the page refreshed. Now I lost my place in line. :monkey2:

That's another reason why I don't have kids--though I sat in the waiting room all morning and still didn't get tickets.

Oh no! I hope you got them!

Nope. Instead of my tickets, she added about a dozen selfies like this to
my phone!

I love her, she's my baby but sheesh...She has her own phone to clog up with her selfies!! :gah: :slap :lol

I plan on going to Reno in November to a WC again, but I would of liked to have gotten tickets to at least one day at SDCC espicially since I was in the registration waiting room for about 2 hours.

Next year, I guess.
