What do you mean? I don't think it's really worth trying to sub out salt water for daily water use, to impractical and expensive. You can't really water your grass with salt water, that would be going backwards.

Drinking water, maybe, depending on how pricey it would be to set something like that up.

It is inevitable that water will become scarce. Money won't be a worry option at some point. Places like Dallas/FTW are already trying to buy water rights from Oklahoma and the legal aspects are complex. Humanity will eventually be forced to use ocean water as there will be too much fresh water waste to meet supplies.

Plus, it's got electrolytes.
