I don't understand how anyone can retain the 'mood' for repetitively watching the same movie - even a legitimately great one - multiple times over a course of days, weeks or even months.

My all-time favourite movies I'll watch once a year, twice at most, heck maybe I'll even skip a year.

If it's something I really love I'll go on Thursday evening or Friday afternoon and I'll go with someone else Sunday.
If I see it after that it's because I don't have anything going on. I'll go to a midweek 10:15pm show and you get to be the only person in the theater which is really awesome.

My next marvel - youtube figure reviews most frequently used words

''you guys''
''right here''
''right there''
''over here''
''over there''
''check out''

I haven't seen a film in the theater twice since the 90s, and it was the only time. But to see a film that has a general consensus of being a bad film... well that's just insanity to spend $200 to see it in a theater.

That reminds me, I need to give The Thing a watch. I don't think I've seen it since sometime last year.

People complain about ticket prices but they aren't that high haha.

If you don't get popcorn or snacks and just get the ticket you're looking at $10-18 depending on the theater and type of movie.

I just went to the movies for the 35th time this year and I can't fathom a $500 monthly pass
