im not even sure I understood what they did. they made me play with some cubes and then they made me answer some common trivia questions and some world questions then this long written test and then they did a verbal test and some math stuff. I completely ruined the math part. felt more like a personality quiz really.

Sounds like one of the Wechsler intelligence scales

Did you play with puppets and string beads too?

How successful the film Twister was, when in hindsight it's god awful.

The writing, Hoffman's annoying character, Bill Paxton playing Bill Paxton, the evil stormchasers. :yuck

WE'RE GOING INNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

HE'S THE EXTREME!!!!

IT'S ALREADY HERE!!!!

I GOTTA GO WE GOT COWS!!!! :pow

When they're talking about the different levels of Tornados, and Paxton's fiance asks if there's an F5 and you hear the fork drop and hit the plate.

"What would that be like?"

"The finger of God."

It's enough to kill someone with ****** chills.

There are quite a few movies and tv shows that were so popular in the past that I see now and I'm almost embarrassed by them. :lol

One of the common thing that seem embarrassing to watch, according to Mr. Green, seem to be the technology. Old Star Wars and Star Trek are prime example. The story itself is usually fine but the simple technology are silly. At least Star Trek updates itself in touch screen and such user controls, unless it's reboot and such. Star Wars, for the most part, seem old. Although Queen Amadala space ship seems top notch.

Twister was filmed in my town and surrounding area. The hype for the film was ridiculous--people acted like it was going to win Best Picture. I remember watching it in the theater and being more entertained trying to figure out what local areas were in scenes from the film. It was just a "disaster movie" with a bad script that was completely dependent on the CGI tornadoes being the big pay-off. I tried watching it again a few years ago and couldn't finish it.

Whenever I can't stomach a bad movie, I would settle for a Nostalgia Critic review: :lol

I can imagine OK in chaos during that. The CGI doesn't hold up either. It bugs me that in most shots its like a sunny day outside and then they pan to the tornado and for whatever reason it looks doom and gloom in only one square mile of sky :lol

Most films that are filmed in Philly I only watch to see where they did it. Like Twelve Monkeys opening scene was right outside my office.

OK now which one of you was this?

A man suspected of squirting women with syringes of his semen in a number of Ohio malls has been arrested. Timothy Blake told police his bizarre crime was inspired by “the internet.”
Following a two-month search, police finally caught Blake, 28, on December 30. He admitted to 12 instances of masturbating in shopping mall parking lots, all in Marietta city, and then filling syringes with his semen. He would then follow women around the malls before squirting them with the bodily fluid.

I marvel at people who post and post and post in a thread for a film they hate. I can't imagine doing that. Marvelous.

An untraceable crime if ever there was one. It's a wonder he was caught.
