So I got my ex Thor in :banana #210/500

Question tho, did anyone have issues with getting the foot ALL the way down into the peg holder? Mine doesn't seem to wanna go in all the way :(

Also, did anyone notice the fabric on the left leg (kneeling on the top rock) to be wrinkled? I think I may have done that when setting it on the base. But is there any way to flatten it somehow?? Maybe take a blowdryer on low to take out the wrinkles?

Clothes no

Peg into base being loose...

Hell Yeah! I had the same problem until I figured out how he should be balanced.

It was insane that tbey went with one peg to begin with!

You actually have to lean him back for him to be stable. The toes of his boot on his peg leg should be a tad bit airborne as in you should be able to slide a finger underneath the front of his boot where the toes would be.

Believe me, it was rather stressful getting him appropriately balanced and situated.

J, does you Thor wiggle or wobble any whenever it's on the base. Also r u sayn that there is space between the second foot from the base (the higher foot that is)...

I'll have to look at mine but I can't remember I thought it was all flush...

I really regret cancelling the exclusive. :banghead

I wasn't thinking about getting this either until a fellow freak offered it to me because he was getting out of Marvel, the more pics I seen of this the more I was amazed!

When I finally got him and added him to my current collection it was like the gel of the group to bring it all together, once I placed him in the middle, it was all over!!! :banana:banana:banana:banana

It's kinda hard to explain. Here Goes:

When I got him, simply just placing him on the base was giving me very wobbly results.

There's actually some thought and careful hand work required for him to be stable, yet still slightly wobbly, but not out of control unstable wobbly like he is if you just place him on and walk away.

The Peg goes in
Lean (pivot) him back and place all his weight onto the heel of the straight leg with the peg causing the front of his boot (the toes) to raise a tad bit into the air just enough where you can slide your finger underneath the front of his boot. I'm talking about small backwards pivot movements here.

You can also choose to place all the weight onto the front of the boot where you wouldn't be able to slide your finger underneath the toes but that makes him very very wobbly, obviously because the peg and heel are probably not all the way into the socket hole as it should be.

The bent leg's foot does not float in the air but it's also not "dug deep and hard" into the base either. It can still easily be slid back and forth.

Speaking of the bent leg, I have that foot slid as far back as possible on that raised part of the base, the little hill I call it, and that's the one that really scares me because if you keep sliding that foot 360 degrees it WILL come of the base and kinda just hang there because most of the weight is still on the straight peg leg BUT still, that's crazy and obviously not the right thing to do!

One freaking peg, sheesh!

Should've easily been 2 pegs and i'm not even a statue designer.

It's common sense, your largest piece and tallest base have less pegs than smaller pieces with a flat base.

All PF's should have 2 pegs although my Cap wobbles a tad bit even though he's a 2 pegger.

P.S. What an awesome collection you certainly have. Thor does indeed bring it all together.

Hey Chris checked mine out here at home and the foot is all the way down on the peg also no wrinkles on the fabric with the bent leg.

Wow, that is a lot to explain, LOL!

Thanks man much appreciated, it's only the beginning for me, hopefully I'll be able to get a display soon instead of the glass desk they are sitting at the current moment!

His left shoe should be touching the highest peak of the rock. If it's not, then something is wrong.

man, I can't wait to get this piece in...I can't believe how much SS charged my friend for shipping tho...$60 PLUS we have to pay for CA tax...then shipping it to me...making this one of the most expensive pieces I've purchased at retail...but I still can't wait!

Yeah man this cost me 370. Could get it at a retailer in town for 300 but I wanted the bearded portrait. 70 bucks, The price of choice. Mine arrives Friday :chew

Mine should be here Friday. Can't wait to see the size of this beast in comparison to my other Marvel pieces.

It's such an awesome piece...

you will cry and and fall to your knees and raise your hands up in the air and wave them like you just don't care...

that's how awesome it is...

I did the same....

Saw it in person at SDCC and it definitely stole the show as far as PF's go. It made Conan look like a toy.
