How good is the 3D?

Saw it tonight... If you can avoid 3D, see it in 2D... The action into close and fast for the slower flicker of 3D glasses... The film was good, decent and fun. Not great, but not average their. I will say this the casting all round was perfect, accept for Thors mates, they were a bit too camp!

I enjoyed Norton's Hulk more. Just missed the mark set by Iron Man 1. I like Incredible Hulk more than IM1 and like IM2 better than all of them!

But I blame the 3D and sitting tooo close to my current view of the film, but N Portman & C Hemsworth have great chemistry!

I am not convinced with the review by the dude that kabukiman quoted. He said the 3D flickered? It shouldn't since it does not use an active shutter glasses like the ones for home use. He also sat too close for 3D and he also likes IM2 better than IM! and the rest? Yeah I take his review with a grain of salt.

3D was fine for me except for one fight scene where everything happened really fast. It's ok if you are sitting far back enough, just don't sit right up close. That should apply to all other movies including 2D ones too.

The second time I watched it in 3D, I sat too close to the screen and I did notice that it was a little too blurred in the background in many of the shots. When you see it, sit middle to back in the cinema.

i sat 3 rows from the back!
The battle scene with the Frost Giants was pure awesome!
i truly liked the ending...to me it was like noooooooooo, but then i thought hang on...and the end clip after the credits confirmed it for me :)
Again, the CG and special effects in this movie are amazing-The Destroyer is bad ass,but VERY underused.

I rate that as the best battle scene in comic book movies so far. I hope Thor kicks as much ass in Avengers.

The destroyer part was too short, but they did stuff so much into that movie so that's ok.

Thor vs. Hulk in live action will be :thud:

Great Movie 5 stars out of 5 :rock My review

Ok, I can't take the wait anymore :gah: :gah:

Glad to hear that you enjoyed it :hi5:

Hey, was there any nudity in it, like did Natalie Portman have a lesbian scene with her girlfriend in the movie, or maybe Thor had a threesome with them....anything of that nature...that sure would make the movie even better in my eyes :yess: :lol

No I think they left that sort of stuff to Game of Thrones and Spartacus

Marvel really needs to rethink their movies....don't they know that sex sells :lol

If I was really Thor, the God of Thunder, I would land on the tallest mountain butt naked.....but with my cape and hammer of course.
