My problem with the 3D was the loss of colour really effected in some of the scenes and made them too dark. I will definitely pass on 3D next time.

As for Chris Hemsworth, he's going to be one to look out for in the future (He was great in the short time he was in Star Trek), and I think he was as perfectly cast as Thor, just as Robert Downey Jr was cast as Tony Stark

Saw it today. Loved it, but thought 3d was unnecessary.

What's promising about Thor is that unlike Avatar which sucks w/o the 3D, it sounds like Thor doesn't need the 3D to be a good movie

Thor is a great Superhero film, I can't wait to see it again in 2D... the 3D made the action sequences impossible to follow, they just look cheesy imo. When you get the chance to see it avoid the 3D!!!

Eyes can't wait to have this and Cap on 3D Blu-ray next fall to enjoy on my 3D set up...one can only watch Step Up 3D so many times you know

Same here, but I actually ended up loving the 3D in it, especially with most of the amazing dancing in it.

I'll be honest, I'm shocked at the critical reviews for this so far. Every clip I've seen has looked horrible and Hemsworth looks like a terrible actor in all the horrible clips I've seen. So for those that have seen it already are they just showing the worst of it? Is Hemsworth better than the snippets from previews? What were your expectations going in based on the previews?

Just came back from seeing it! Definitely a 10/10 for me! It exceeded my (high) expectations! It was just awesome!
