As someone that actually liked Dead Space 3 a lot (aside from it being way too generous in the ammo dept - a huge issue), I find the figure really nice. That said, doing DS3 before the more iconic Dead Space 1 suit is just odd

At first I was really annoyed (like everyone else) that they were doing this version before any other suit but after seeing pics I'm really into it. I had ton of rewards points sitting around with nothing specific I wanted to use them on so last night I them all at this. Looks like a really cool figure to have on the shelf and the build quality sounds up to snuff.

They need to do a 1:6 Necro pronto to go with the Issac. When i played Dragons age 2, I spent half the game in my Ser Issac armor......it was pretty sweet looking

My initial annoyance with their choice of the DS3 suit disappeared pretty quickly, especially after receiving the figure. The little bits and intricacies of the suit are so interesting and fun to look at, it just makes me so excited to have the piece. The other side to this double edged sword is that it makes me more hopeful and wanting that they'll make a DS1 suit. Because if they can pull it off as well as this figure, it will be one of my top 5 1:6 figures.

It seems there are a few issues coming up with this? Wet paint, weird odor, exclusive heads having paint rubs, and that's it?

I wanna know if I can put this guy in deep stances. Can anybody here try that? So hard to decide between this and Mass Effect's Shep.

ThreeA figures always have their distinct scent, it's the paint they use especially for weathering.

couldn't understand a word he said, but at least he actually gave us a look at the range of motion in the joints; which matters to me with a figure.

Received my figure today (I ordered from Sideshow rather than Threezero directly because I had a bunch of rewards points I wanted to use). Figure looks great like has already been established. Surprised to find there are parts where the paint is still wet/tacky. I heard some of the figures that arrived to people directly from Threezero also had wet paint but that was over a month ago so you'd think the mass release stuff (that I assume was produced at the same time) would have dried by now.

there's a joke sayin people keep buying 3A stuffs because they are addicted to the wet paint scent.

some paints may never dry up completely because they applied the coat too thick in 1 go, imagine a bottle of paint gone dry, it'd still be soft & tacky, not hard like concrete.

ughh....Just got my figure today from BBTS. Packaging box was crushed, crushing the figure box inside. There was some air-cell packing loosely wrapped around it that didn't do much. Took the figure out, and realized one of the two hook-things that are at the front of each boot is missing. Wrapped it back up, will contact BBTS tomorrow. Sucks....really nice figure, though!

Thanks for sharing all the pics. Glad to see this turned out so well (tacky paint notwithstanding).

And just how well they have managed to do with the light up feature also bodes very well for the upcoming Mass Effect Legion figure.
