I just looked at this figure this afternoon in person and the clothes look really great. That's about where it stops though unfortunately.

The gloves and boots are sculpted really amature like, they have that same carved out of wood look that the Dinkledge hands do.

The head is also pretty bad in person, not realistic looking in terms of detail paint and sculpt and looks a little amatureish for what we have come to expect in 1/6

I was highly disappointed, hopefully someone can start a run for a custom replacement head ASAP.

So it didn't match the prototype pics? What I've come to learn from collecting HT is that they usually look even better in hand than they do in pics. That's pretty disappointing if it looked that bad.

What booth were they in? Diamond, or were they with the ThreeA stuff? I can't find any coverage of ThreeZero in the NYCC galleries.

I like how the hands are hidden behind his cloak, but that's enough to say they are "amature" and look like they're made out of wood.

I think a more reasonable explanation is that those comments are hyperbole, and the figure is actually pretty good.

Man is that some harsh lightning. :lol Futzing is meh too. His boots are friggin massive though. :lol Still, I cant wait for this one for be on my doorstep. :rock

the lighting in those pics is hind of hiding the problems with the head sculpt which go beyond likeness I'm afraid. In person you can see that the detail does not look realistic. I kind of reminded me of Mcfarlane Toy at the 1/6 scale or the big 1/4 NECA figures. It looked very much like a toy :(

Worst comes to worst, there will probably be a custom sculpt done. The clothes are well worth $160. As Yankee said, this would be $900 if it was a custom.

I guess I'm just not seeing the faults that others are seeing in this figure. Bad lighting or not, I totally see a strong likeness. This looks like a pretty terrific figure to me. Maybe I just have lower standards, but I think this looks great so far. Especially for the price.
