Maybe all of the parties involved are trying to take it nice and slow, at least at the start? Maybe they're worried about fulfilling all of the orders, meeting demand? That's kind of what is plaguing Play Imaginative and its IM offerings.

Wouldn't you want to come out balls-a-swinging with a line like this?

Missed the ex for Tyrion and am now having a hard time wanting to order any. They need a better distribution site with waitlists and etc.

The extra sword is nice, but honestly, if I hadn't seen it in the exclusive photos, I wouldn't have even realized it was "missing." $160 shipped is what helped sell me. ;)

The price with shipping included was the main reason I ordered Tyrion direct from Threezero. However, considering the character and the importance of the sword, I wouldn't order Ned if I couldn't get Ice as well, so ordering Ned from Threezero was a must.

Maybe some company can do diecast swords for the line, like Dr Wu does for transformers. Those things are relatively cheap too and extremely well made. $10-$20 for a nice diecast sword of Ice or whatever.

I don't feel there's any sword in the entire series that I would consider "important" - this isn't King Arthur and none of the swords are Excalibur. I certainly had no clue that Ned Stark had a sword called Ice. I may be into collectible 1/6 figures and have been involved in computers and tech my entire life, but I'm not a nerd. :rotfl

If they did a Stannis Baratheon figure, his Lightbringer would be pretty important as well.

And I think there is a slightly better chance of Threezero making Stannis than Thoros.

I take it you've never read the books then.

See, that's a figure for GoT hyper nerds. ;) I had to look him up as I had no idea who it was.

I only meant that to the casual viewer, even one who absolutely loves the show, picking up the Ned figure with a large dagger and the "medium" sword, I doubt many people would say "hey, what about ice?"

I take it you've never read the books then.

Right. I'm a fan of the show and have no intention of ever reading the books. I barely have enough time to do anything as it is.

If you read the books or watch the show you'll see why Ice is an important sword in the story. Knowing the relevance of something to the overall storyline has nothing to do with being a nerd. Even the casual viewer of the show saw what happened to Ice last season.

I know what happened to the sword and I understand its relevance (not significance) to the story. I just don't think it's THAT big a deal as an accessory and I definitely never bothered to learn its name - which I can't recall being mentioned, so I may have forgotten that detail from such a scene.

Apparently the licensor and ThreeZero don't think it's important enough to warrant inclusion with every release either - they could have made one of the other blades the exclusive right? ;) That said, $160 shipped, all three blades = no brainer direct from ThreeZero. More is more in this case.

If I had read the books I'm sure I wouldn't appreciate the show as much, and the only reason I'm buying any of these figures is because of the show and what the actors contributed to the characters.
