This figure is too good to be true. After years of waiting for a descent Rambo figure, I'm still skeptical after looking at the photos. :lol

I mean, usually the first online photos are bad.

I have zero Stallone representation in my collection. That seems a shame.

To be fair, aside from Neca Rambo and Rocky, there isn't much official stuff available. Rocky, Rambo, Judge Dredd and Cobra make for a good variety of figures, but no one is making them, not even Blitzway. :dunno

HT hasn't made anything since Expendables 2.

I foolishly skipped all the NECA opportunities. I used to have the Hot Toys Expendables figure but opted to sell it, not really Stallone's best role and I needed to undiversify my collection to save future money.

When this figure was first shown I recall people weren't too impressed and thought the proportions were weird. Do we think they fixed that?

I'd say so. The arms still feel a little long and the hands are big, but they fixed the pants/legs and positioned the head higher on the neck, so he looks a lot less squat than before.

What does Maulfan say about this Rambo...?

He hasn't posted anything yet. He's probably still counting the veins and pores on the body. :lol

If I didn’t own the Enterbay version already, I’d definitely buy this, but with the Enterbay and not having any other 1:6 figures to go with, there’s just no point getting this figure too. It’s impressive, but the rubber arm concern and a few other issues keep it from seeming so amazing that I’d want to double dip. I’m more interested in adding a Rambo 5 into my collection.

I'm looking at photos of the Enterbay and honestly, it just doesn't hold up after seeing Threezero's attempt. I loved the EB and defended it as being sculpted in a relaxed pose, but even with arms outstretched, Stallone was jacked as hell in the film. His muscles had a lot of girth from the front, yet EB opted to give him the appearance of a basketball player: toned but slim with angular shoulders. I think Threezero have set the new standard.

I?d say if anything, the Enterbay arms just look a tad too long, but I?m sure some of that is a result of the articulation.

Both are flawed, neither is perfect.

I don't have any 1/6 Stallone figures, so this is it for me for now until 3zero or some other company makes another figure from 1, 2 or 4.

The rubber arms are a legitimate concern. I wish they were like the Expendable figure. At least they included the jacket to cover the arms just in case. :lol
