Actually Skiman has watched Buffy because in season 2 of Angel Cordelia was gaining some weight, probably from her pregnancy. Or was that season 3? Do I even care?

Meh.

*picks nose looking for gold*

Wow, Eli. How can you be that far off?????

You might as well have said Season 6.

I'm pretty sure she was pregnant in season 4, which was the WORST season of 'Angel'. Oh. So. Bad.

She WAS pregnant in Season 4. (Nice Job! :rock I wish I could say that for Eli. :lol)

I met Charisma and talked to her about her pregnancy and its effect on the show. Let's just say she didn't leave the show on good terms with the producers, Joss, etc.

It was. It was. Season 5 was the reboot season of Angel, and it really is unfortunate that when the best season of Angel aired, it ended abruptly after that. :(

I agree. Season 5 was really, REALLY good. The finale was great and I was so sad to see it end. I've heard the comic that follows events after season 5 ended hasn't held up well. I wanted to read it, but haven't heard enough good to motivate me to pick it up.

From the neck down this piece is great, the throne is top notch. Sculpt looks more like Alyson Hannigan than SMG to me though.

The first arc (Angel after the fall), which Joss co-created, is great, and gives closure.

Brian Lynch who writes it really knows the characters and can write then very well.

He also wrote Spike After the fall, which is a bit less canon, since I don't think Joss had anything to do with it., but it's really great. A bit darker than I like, but I love anything well written with Spike in it.

The rest of the ongoing Angel series and the other comics around it hasn't been able to reach the same standard tough, and that's probably what you heard. Many who liked After the fall doesn't like everything that comes after.

That being said, buy the first issues of After the fall in case you're a big Angel fan, because it's such a great comic.

The Season 4 finale, "Home" was one of my favorite episodes in Angel history. I REALLY enjoyed Season 4 overall. I can't really nag on any season of Angel. They all brought something unique to the table that had a profound effect on the next.

It's been a long time since I watched Angel seasons 3 and 4. I don't cherish those seasons. Not the best we have come to expect. A real fan will admit to dud seasons. Even if it's a Joss Whedon product.

I would have known years ago, but hey, sometimes I need to even take a break from things I love. So it becomes that more interesting and enjoyable when I revisit them again. I just finished rewatching Angel season 1 in 2009, and what a season. That and season 5 are my favorites.

So I should lie and pick a season that I didn't like, even though I enjoyed them all?

Eli, Eli, Eli.....:banghead

I loved Angel season 4. Everything went to hell, Wes was badass, Cordelia was vaguely interesting again, the Beast.

Season 3, now that was terrible. :monkey4

Angel seasons 3 and 4 were :monkey4 ! Compared to most shows, they are above average. Compared to Buffy and the other Angel seasons, they were below average. I hated the whole campyness of the Pylea alternate world.

Season 4 of Buffy is a very strong season. I love it. I didn't like the season 4 finale, I felt it was an add in episode because the season ended in episode 21. It was a very twisted episode, with the cheese man, and the whole... you know what? Not a fan. But I loved that season... So many great episodes came from it, and regardless of what any Buffy fanatic says, Adam is by far the coolest looking big-bad. Well, him and the Master. They were both aesthetically awesome. I would love a very nice statue of Adam, Moloch (as a machine), and the Judge. They are my three favorite Buffy/Angel monsters in terms of character design.

I'm going to continue in the "derailing" of this thread but I just want everyone to know that I blame my actions on Eli. :lecture

I'd take seasons 3 and 4 of Angel over 4, 6, and 7 of Buffy any day. Those were truly awful, especially Buffy season 4. :yuck

What? We're talking about Whedonverse stuff. And really until we get more pics, videos, or a 360 of this piece, not much more to talk about the piece, since we have pretty much analyzed the thing to death.

NO WAY! Buffy season 4 was great!

The Freshman

The Harsh Light of Day

Fear, Itself

Wild at Heart

Pangs

Something Blue

Hush

This Year's Girl (Part One of Two)

Who Are You (Part Two of Two)

Superstar

And the list goes on and on...

Season 6 also had the strongest episode in its rich history of great epies... OMWF! So I can't hate that season (not that I hate any of them, just some are lacking more than others), and plus Amy the witch looked _____in' hot in that schoolgirl digs she wore when Willow turned her back into a human.

Does anyone think Joss Whedon will do another television series, or should he simply assert himself towards taking on full feature films, and nothing else?

I really would love to see a theatrical release of Buffy, since it would have a better budget, and this time Joss would have more control over it vs. before hand when Fox pretty much took his idea and raped errr made it their own.

I'll raise you and take season 3 of Millennium and season 1 of Harsh Realm over Angel Seasons 3 + 4.

:D

P.S. Connor and blechh go together like franks and beans, death and taxes, crime and corruption.
