I have a great UPS guy. Very friendly and he makes all my Sideshow deliveries. I live on a base and if he sees me out and about on base and has something for me, he will even stop me and give it to me then.

My question is, with the holidays coming up, how much is a good tip??

A friend of mine tips his UPS driver $20 as a one time tip (always given during the holiday season). But this might depend on how many deliveries you get a year.

We have different guys all the time.

Every time I go to tip my fedex driver...a new one has taken over. So i have yet to get a tip to one of them. This new guy has only just started, but I am going to 'fess him up a 25.00 gift card to Outback Steakhouse this year for Christmas. If he keeps up the help making sure I get my figures on delivery day#1 until next Christmas...I'll likely double that.

At my old place, I gave the USPS carrier $20 or $30 at Christmas, but I'm not even at home when they deliver in my new place so I have no idea if it's the same person on not. I'll probably still try to give the mail carrier $10 or so whenever I see him/her.

The mail carriers aren't supposed to except gifts of over $20. Just and FYI. I think that applies to most others as well.

Here's the tip their getting. :lol Now hurry up and give me my PF exclusive.

As somebody who was a FedEx driver for 4 years, I would say you could buy him a nice bottle of something or $15/£10 plus. That's what I got around this time of year. Some people who I delivered to, or picked up from every day, did not even give me a crappy Christmas Card

All my UPS deliveries are when I'm at work so I never see the driver. I have no idea if it is the same person all the time or what. I want to leave a tip but I don't know how to go about it. They deserve it as they deliver an awful amount of stuff during the year and always make sure the packages are safe from the weather and such.

I gave my ups driver a tip once (just a few dollars) when he re-directed my package to my work. Was out of his way, too.

It's normally the same driver, because he needs to know the route like the back of his hand, that way the deliveries are completed much quicker. You are against the clock because not only do you have to deliver, but you have to collect before businesses close for the day
