Sony are just greedy, clueless pricks. The throw **** against a wall and just pray it sticks. Today's audiences are smarter and demand more. That **** might have worked in there early 2000's but not anymore.

No they aren’t.....

This a definitely untrue....nothing about todays audience is smart.

Sent from the inside of a giant slug in outer space.....

Grace, whos opinion was never something I cared for, has clearly be bought by Youtube.......

That being said , Venom is a cursed character....he just cannot be brought to screen.....

If done right he can. But Sony as I’ve said many times don’t care about making a good story they just want to build some stupid universe and try and make money.

I had a good time. Enjoyed it more than DEADPOOL 2 or ANT-MAN & THE WASP. Dragged a little by the time Venom and Eddie pair up, but it does a fine job exploring the symbiotic relationship-concept.

I haven't been in love with any of the Spidey movies since Raimi; HOMECOMING is just okay, but I find both TASM films unwatchably bad. I'd rank this just below the Raimi trilogy, and maybe on the same level as HC. It was fun for different reasons.

Just saw it in Imax 3D

Not as bad as people are saying. Actually pretty entertaining.

The villain is dull. Not threatening at all. He has a lot of money? So what.

Car/motorcyle chase was dull and too long. Would Spidey try to escape on a cycle? Why would Venom.

Tom Hardy and Venom were the best parts, thankfully. Final scenes with them interacting were perfect. Want to see what they do next.

Would have rather seen him meet Vulture/Keaton at the end than who he does meet.

7 out of 10.

the actor playing the villain did a great job, Tom Hardy was good as Eddie Brock

everything else **** the bed

was the villain Monster Venom ? WTF

No, that rich guy Villain. He was dull. Boring. You need a character actor to make it interesting. Not a cardboard cutout.

I thought Eddie's love interest served no point than moving the story along ... no chemistry.

The villain was more than one dimensional when you look at films like this....

This film was pretty much like Jim Carrey's the Mask. I dont think they had much to work with at all... at least the villain wasnt a *****. Venom came off as really stupid and juvenile.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

Those final scenes where Eddie and Venom agree to work together sold the whole movie. When Eddie’s talking to his girl and Venom says “We’ll win her back”, and also when they lay down the rules/negotiate their partnership. That made me want to see a sequel.

Nothing in this film makes me want a sequel. The best scene is the last 30 seconds which ironically is in the trailer.
