I think all of us freaks here should take a video camera around our place, show off our collections, Jenn can edit the thing and we can make our own damn show. At least it would be enjoyable. Because let's face it, we're awesome. Well, most of us.

That would be cool. You could also "interview" the significant others to get their take on our "hobby."

I'm sure more than a few could lead to an episode of Dr. Phil.:lol

That kind of logic has no place on the internet.

are the epidoses on youtube yet, I dont have cable so I want to see what the hype is about this

Honestly I think just watching these kind of shows it's best not to think about whats fake or real, just watch it and enjoy it, and you don't enjoy it don't watch it.

I just watch them because I want to see the cool stuff... I really don't care about the people that much. :)

Ok, just watched this. First off I don't care about the lowball offers because if you don't like the price don't sell it to him. Second the entire Boba Fett story was so BS. How does a guy who owns a comic store not know he had a RF Fett in the back room (and what its worth) and the sale at the very end of CC total crap. The stuff was cool to see the host a little annoying but I'll watch just to see the toys not because of the host.

:exactly: Vintage toys rock, host suxs......

Did this get cancelled? Or was there a second episode?

It was one show. Did anyone bother reading the first post?

A friend of my has a show starting up on Sunday night on the Travel channel. It's not a regular thing yet, but he's hoping it gets some traction. It's called 'Toy Hunter', and word is a Sideshow item or two might be popping up on this first episode. I haven't seen the finished product yet, but I'm interested to see how it turns out. Hell, it can't be worse than 90% of the goofy, silly 'reality' shows on cable these days. The ad copy says...

"Follow Toy and Collectibles dealer Jordan Hembrough and his team as they travel the country searching out the rarest and most sought after toys and pop culture collectibles! Join Jordan as he meets incredible people and learns about the history of some of the most popular toy lines in the past 30 years. He's out to uncover the Holy Grails of the collecting community... and time is running out!

Travel with Hembrough and his Hollywood Heroes as they journey to New York Comic Con, gathering rare and never before seen toys along the way. Comic Con is the "Super Bowl" of toy wheeling and dealing, gathering thousands of people each year. It's the event where the biggest comic and toy collectors turn out to spend BIG money on the rarest toys!

Can Jordan "seal the deal" and turn his new found treasures into Toy Gold?! Tune in Jan 15th and find out! Check your local listings.

These may be toys... but this aint child's play!"

I'm not sure I'd call NYCC the 'super bowl' of collecting, but hey, they have to hype it up. The show is on at 11pm EST on the Travel channel this Sunday.
