Price is fine given the quality of cinemaquette brand, it also has the sliding helmet not switchout I don't think any other ststue has.

That said, the pose is absolutely horrible....just unnatural horrible. I don't understand why is it so freaking difficult for companies just to a statue with ironman standing there straight.

This will be a money loser, easy pass.

It's borderline looking like a Heisman Trophy pose - not saying that's bad - but far from perfect as you said.

I was reading through the thread again. The RDJ autograph with this piece is pretty cool. Not sure that would entice me enough to buy, but can't hurt.

What other time are you going to get RDJ's autograph, you know?

The pose isn't anywhere near the best of possible options, but I don't think it's absolutely atrocious either. This statue has a few things going for it that no other IM statue or figure will ever have. I doubt the final ES will be anywhere near 1000 as well. We will see if they come through on the silicon portrait.

Have to agree with that last part especially. That being said, there are options for neutral posed IM pieces in 1:2 if that's more your bag.

For ballpark 3 grand I could care less about the autograph, and as you know I'm a huge RDJ fan. That signature means little when the monstrous piece eating up a ton of space in my home has an awkward at best pose going for it. The paint looks good and that sliding faceplate feature is pretty cool.

Yeah but the 1:2 scale is too big and i am not paying $2k for a sideshow piece, they are nowhere close to the quality of cinemaquette.

Agree on the autograph, you can get a rdj signed autograph that's authenticated for around $200, it's not a consideration on a $2k statue, the only consideration is the statue itself at those price levels.

I would take that in a heartbeat over this.

Not saying the Cinemaquette is bad. Just saying when it's put to comparison, dollar for dollar at that price.

Update , ok everyone. IM as we all know has been up for preorder , and will continue to be until end of this month , It is anticipated to ship around October . Hulk preorder will be sometime in sept , and planning to ship before the end of year , the lycan maquette which will b released after the hulk will go up for preorder sometime in November BUT will most likely be shipping early of 2017 so lots of time to save up No price yet on hulk .

Well, this is disappointing. The 2nd production piece I've seen now and both have the same issue. Those black lines between the panels look like they've been drawn with a Sharpie. It's very uneven and looks messy up close.

Thankfully, it's unnoticeable from a couple steps back but it'll always be on my mind since I know it's there... like getting a scratch on your brand new car that only you can see. Everyone else can't find it.

I hate being overly critical, but this is Cinemaquette, and I've come to expect quality pieces from them. Especially when it comes to paint application. More importantly, I wanted to purchase this piece to add to my collection (I was asking for one a few posts up).
