That getting caught in the wires was really dumb.

If I recall correctly, the movie left him hanging there for several minutes. That was the worst part.

But that Skydiving scene is magical. Really, really impressive.

Yeah, kinda sad that I enjoyed watching the SpecOps guys scenes in the movies more than the robot scenes. I maintain the opinion that they should have just had that team become GI JOE.

Michael Bay should just direct 20 million dollar dark comedies from here on out. Or 50 million dollar action movies. The smaller his movies are, the better they are.

Haven't seen retaliation yet, but I suspect you maight be correct.
Waiting for the home video release.
also also, I agree, Bay would likely make a pretty good Joe film.

Hell, "The ROCK" allmost Feels like a joe story already.

What? How was Retaliation a failure? The Studio greenlit a sequel after the first weekend. It has made almost $360M on a budget of $130M. So why does it need the talentless Bay?

Because Bayformers crush this and Joe is just as marketable and should be doing as well as any other comic based movie. Good for you that you can google statistics, this movie still was underwhelming at bringing people in considering it should already have a huge fanbase. You're acting like Bay directing Joe would bring quality to the films. I'll take both Retaliation and Rises over any of the Spolsionbots any day.

And money does not equal quality. Avatar is the highest grossing film of all time, yet no one with any understanding of cinema would say it's better than the Godfather or Citizen Kane.
