The ill Jedi
ILLest of 'em all!!
Comparing ANYTHING Transformers to Power Rangers is blasphemy!!I'm glad it was brief, I like Prime kicking ass but that part felt like a Power Rangers episode or something.
Well... I liked it.

^^^^ yeah, high five for Prime!!I agree 110% that should be in a Transformers movie!!!!
That is the single most badass sequence in Transformers history! All the Autobots are getting their assess handed to them and Prime arives in all his awesomeness and single handedly takes down a handfull of Decepticons I still get chills EVERYTIME I watch it, and usually rewind it a few times.
Followed by the greatest piece of dialogue in Transformers history!
Megatron "Prime!"
Optimus Prime: "One shall stand. One shall fall."
Megatron: "Why throw away your life so recklessly?"
Optimus Prime: "Thats a question you should ask youreself Megatron."
I get chills jjust writting it.
BADASS!!!!!!!!!
^^^^ Hot Rod!!So true!!! NOTHING can ever compare. Absolute prefection!
I remember crying so hard when Prime died! Tramatized the ^^^^ out of me. I hated Hot Rod forever after that. I was so angry that he got the Matrix

^^^^ Hot Rod!!
I didnt hear one person complain about Racism. Not one soul after the movie was over.
^^^^ you guys, I loved the Twins.
Cool story bro.
Not trying to start an argument, but I would like to know what you liked about it?? I asked my wife, "what did you like about it", she said not much the action was cool, but thats about it...
MF I agree I like the parents quirkiness and comic relief, just it went to far, same with Skids and MF, they were ok and I have no real beef about them aside from the whole ghetto thing got carried away.
Now that Ive thought about it, the forest scene was cool, and I liked BB alot in this movie, though the whole voice thing was another blunder.
No argument at all-- differing opinions (and respecting said differences in opinions) are what make this world (and subsequent board) interesting. I would have responded earlier but I crashed. Here's my take.
What I loved:
-Optimus Prime kicking some serious %$#@ in several scenes (especially after the horrific Shia duck and cover from the first movie when we had to follow this massive confrontation between Prime and Megatron from Sam's facial reactions)... 1) jumping from the plane and taking out Demolisher 2) taking on Megatron AND Starscream AND a seemingly resurrected Blackout (???)-- when Prime said after falling down "All right then, I'll take you all on" I got goosebumps 3) blowing half of Megatron's face off with his own gun and making short work of the all powerful the Fallen.
-The Starscream and Megatron interaction....Exactly what I wanted to see so badly in the first movie.
-Ravage and Soundwave-- yes I would have liked to have seen Soundwave on Earth (and without the Claw voice) but it was great seeing them on the screen, especially when Ravage unleashed his hip cannons (just like the two rockets the topy had that I always refused to lanuch cause then he'd be defenseless so I had them shoot bullets too).
-Sideswipe and Arcee-- I would have liked to have seen more but Sideswipe was an awesome character/design and as someone who isn't really a fan of the characters introduced in the '86 movie (Kup, Arcee, Hot Rod etc... well, except Ultra Magnus but I'll get to that in a second) I actually liked their design for Arcee. But was she one entity split into three sections or were there three Autobot ladies? (I think the blue one had a different name-- at least the toy package showed it as such)
-The soundtrack obviously.
-The Optimus/Ultra Magnus moment with him doning Jetfire's gear.
What I enjoyed:
-Megan Fox running in slow mo.
-Shia's acting. (I admit it-- I don't hate him.)
-Most of the comedic elements (Rainn... funny.)
-Devastator. (two balls...)
-The twins. (I didn't mind them as much as others--)
What I tolerated:
-Jetfire (I didn't like the re-incarnation of one of my favourites-- but at least they got the part about a former Decepticon who grew tired of the war switching sides.)
-John Turturo and the roommate-- They did there part and it would have been much worse if Jonah Hill had been cast as the roommate.
-The parents. The theatre I saw it in seemed to enjoy the comedic elements-- There weren't groans or silence (like when the G.I.Joe trailer played beforehand )
What I disliked:
-Wheelie. A leg-humping robot. (nuff said)
-Not enough time with the robots (and the absence of Ratchet and Iron-Hide almost completely). Let the third be a trip to Cybertron (bring Sam and his tight-pants-cleavage-showing lady too if you want) where the impending assault of Unicron is about to take place. Make it something epic and get us away from following the storyline through the humans. We've been introduced to the robots now-- Spielberg, make it happen.
-How did all of these Decepticons gets brought back to life (Blackout, Bonecrusher--seen during the desert fight, Scorponok fighting Jetfire)-- why couldn't they have jumpstarted Jazz with one of the cube pieces?
I enjoyed the movie. My wife, a non-serious fan, who did enjoy the first one also enjoyed this one.
To each their own.
I got the chills too watching that, it was seriously awesome....Optimus Prime kicking some serious %$#@ in several scenes (especially after the horrific Shia duck and cover from the first movie when we had to follow this massive confrontation between Prime and Megatron from Sam's facial reactions)... 1) jumping from the plane and taking out Demolisher 2) taking on Megatron AND Starscream AND a seemingly resurrected Blackout (???)-- when Prime said after falling down "All right then, I'll take you all on" I got goosebumps 3) blowing half of Megatron's face off with his own gun and making short work of the all powerful the Fallen...

That's why he's my boy!!!i wasn't lying when i said he kicked ass eh?
I heard a few gasps of shock and horror from kids (maybe age 9-10) in my audience when Prime died. To me, that's what it's all about - we are cynical old people, but if the kids still feel that way about Prime, that's a win for the film right there!
