changed my mind on the body style. Though I wanted to use TTs I decided I'm going with the Bucks. I tested the Mal head on both and decided I liked it much better on a Buck. In the long run I think it'll be easier to find figures of various sizes with the Bucks.

That said, I guess I'm joining Anzik on the Quixotic idea of finding a SSC Big Boy for use on Jayne, though I may have to settle for a tall.

I put Mal on the regular size. I'll pick up a shorts for Wash and Simon if we get that far.

I still want to use the Cuban HT for Zoe though she might be a tad too short now.

I'm thinking of going all HT with my bodies, but I can't find a good one for mal, well, not one that's at a good price at least

what do you consider a "good" one for Mal? I had the broad shoulder and IMO its too small. Do they make a body bigger than that? If they do and you used a bigger one for Mal, what would you use for Jayne?

This is the thought process I went through. I don't know HT well enough to answer that. So I just went with the Bucks.

What is the Bigboy buck? the ones used for the Jason figures?

I have a couple of bucks on the way to me, so I'm curious to see what they look like. If I still don't like them, I'm going to try to extend the legs, arms, and possibly the abdomen of a truetype to see if that works better. I have no idea how to do it though... yet.

I want one with a neck that's attached to the body, like the kamui gaiden ones.

My Jayne is on a Comedian body with extended leg posts.

I've got a TTL 3.0 Coming, which has a sculpted neck, but I'm just gonna have to wait and see how that looks wit hthe Mal head - I may have to just get a standard TT and modify it myself so there isn't a neck gap

I won't get my cast until it's all painted up so I have NO idea how it'll look on my body. But I was planning on using a Narrow True Type. Mine is a 2nd Gen Mal (to give it a name) so I'm hoping that the 'slightly smaller' cast will be JUST 'slightly smaller' enough to look right on the body. Although I'm sure once it's all dressed up it'll look great!

toyadventurer's looks great IMO.

If worse comes to worse I'll try a Buck out. I'm just worried none of the clothes will fit right. I'd rather have a slightly large head than ill tight or short clothes.

Thats correct. There are other figures that it came with I'm sure, but I don't know them all to list. Pretty sure Frankenstein and maybe the John Wayne figures.

I'm sure none of the LOTR or SW figures came with them.

That is one of the BEST paint jobs I have EVER seen small_studios! How do you get that perfect skin tone and coloring? Any secrets you can share with us? I'm an aspiring 1:6 scale painter. If I had even half of the skills you did....just WOW!

Any chance you'll be offering your services to paint these head sculpts? I'm now on Trevor's list for them.

Thank you for the nice praise for my Mal and Jayne bashes. I've got my Jayne sculpt and am going to try and have Josh paint him for me. Should make a great combination.

Is that all done with airbrush? or a combination of base + shading using airbrush and hand brush painted details?
