Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Just wanted to pop in and say you did a great job on the Wash sculpt Trev. The facial details are just perfect. I have this one in hand and the skin detail and texture are awsome. I hope to have him painted up soon.

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Great Kaylee, boot25! Thanks for sharing. I really love the expression in her eyes.

Mooncat- I'll definitely get to Summer...I just hope it's sooner than...next summer. ;) River will be sculpted alongside Simon to round out the entire project whenever I get to the finish line...

Josh- Terrific to hear, man! I can't wait to see your paintwork, and I'm really glad you like the sculpt.

Protozaius-So happy to hear you like him!

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Started painting mine today. Wow. You don't realize just how much there is until you put a paint brush in all those little nooks. Amazing.

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Old Grandpa, what was that site you reccomended once that has mostly 1/6 western clothing?

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Trev, you hit another one out of the ballpark. Looking forward to having Wash in hand, my Firefly crew is looking excellent!! :clap

Hey Jiminy, The Westeren sites I've used are ajclothiers.com and battlegeartoys.com. I think A.J. Clothiers still does custom work. She did some Firefly customs in the past.

Great job Anzik. Can't wait to add him to my collection! All I need now is a body.

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Who has experience with dremeling out Trev's headsculpts so they fit on a TT neck post? I'll have need of your services. :)

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Ha! That looks terrific, Anzik! He's gotta be tough to paint with as subtle as you have to be...but man, you did a fantastic job. Love the outfit, too...Very very cool.

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Thanks Trev, it was a pleasure to work on as always.
I gotta telly ya, I have never had so much fun as I have till you started these my friend.

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts

Great work Anzik!

Marfmaster, how did you manage to get a hold of some Indy pants for Mal? Is there anyway to get a hold of this one clothing item without buying the whole $70 figure?

Also, anyone know of a place that still has those Newline Japanese Officer Boots for sale?

I bought the German Indy pants almost a year ago from Toy Anxiety, but your best bet now would probably be to post in the WTB section here.

Also, today I made my Kaylee jumpsuit and shirt and mounted her head on a body. It's been a good day!
