Hey guys, just curious if Clu on lightcycle is an exclusive to a certain store or is he just rare? Saw on eBay someone saying it's exclusive but didn't say where so just curious if that's just pish-posh? I got Sam on lightcycle today which was a bad idea b/c now I want Clu

Clu's cycle was a Wal-Mart exclusive. It was pretty plentiful but seems to be drying up quickly.

Hey, UK folks - If anyone can pick up an extra Recognizer set I'd be very thankful. I can look out for the deluxe discs for you if you need them!

I've looked at 2 walmarts so far and haven't found one

I'm beginning to lose hope

BUT

here are some quick pics of my set up for right now with my phone since my camera needs charging thinking of repainting Clu to a more proper yellow and definitely going to add more paint detail to the Light cycle Sam head

added a wee bit of photoshop to this one real quick so it wouldn't be so blah since the picture quality is boo boo!

Here goes my set up of what I got. Not sure how I will do it once I find the other disks though.

How tall are the larger figures in this picture? Are they 1/6 or 1/12 scale?

The discs come from many retailers like Target (assuming you can get to them before some fat employee who takes them before they hit the shelf, only to resell them for 100.00 on Ebay.)

As for the case I am wondering the same!

i don't normally go to stores for collectibles cause this area sucks for anything decent and i just end up wasting time going there, but for this i'll check out target and maybe walmart

so they have variants of those disks?
i need 2 for a costume i'm working on (blue) and would love to have the variants for display

The variants are:


Sam Flynn: Blue Disc
Kevin Flynn: White Disc
Rinzler: Orange Disc

Good luck getting either Kevin, or Rinzler. There seems to be no rhym or reason but some Targets get a ton, and some get none. So depending where you are in the country you may have real good luck. The retail cost varies from 9.99 to 19.99 depending if they are on sale, and where you get them. I got the Sam Flynn for 14.99 at Toys R Us back in November when they first came out.

nothing else maybe i can get different ones and customize them, having a setup with the variants looks really awesome

and if yes, how are the effects, any good or just cheese ball kids toy type sound fx?

Sorry just to clarify....the photos above are not mine, I was responding to the post. Sorry man.

Yeah the deluxe discs do have sound effects. Nothing to earth shattering, but neat. The main issue most are having with the disc is that they don't stay lit the whole time they are on. They go into a shut down mode or something after a couple minutes of inactivity. Also the blade only lights up for a few seconds, then goes back to dark.

yea i figured the pictures weren't yours, but thanks a lot for answering my questions

i'm ok with the light up features not being amazing, i want to modify it with e.l. wire anyway to match the suit i'm working on so they are the same shade of blue

Got Rinzler's Disc today at Target. Only one amongst many Sam Flynn discs.
Damn you guys for posting pictures and talking about the discs! Now I need to get Kevin Flynn's.
